  1. Or pressing it down, as HTB says go for relays first on TWs.
  2. Winched these up a slope (2.5 meter lengths for pallets) the winch did groan a bit in fairness!
  3. I use this on my Kubota (35e I think 300kg, wouldn't want much heavier) sensational bit of kit, yesterday I was dragging willow across a river and up a slope, easy stuff. As for felling it is a great asset, you don't have to set the line too high on the tree to get it over, saves a lot of time.
  4. The poplar plantations here are mostly for pallets.
  5. Ha ha, we've all done it, tiptoed round the edges of the roof with the pole saw at full extension.
  6. A lot depends on the spout height on your chipper, 1/2 to 3/4 roof will usually be enough.
  7. Ha ha Joe. I miss Tony Sorensen, he was a great debater, I remember a few like this....
  8. Flatters, arbogrunt, Jonny walker, Mick Stockbridge, Rupe amongst others, people come and go, I understand that. I'm not looking through rose coloured specs. Maybe the forum world has become a bit like town high streets, small independents catching the eye of the large conglomerates (FB) who try to steamroller them.
  9. That looks like a recent hack job, often brings up larger than normal foliage in those cases.
  10. I miss the old Arbtalk not the land of fluffy bunnies with no bottoms that you're reminiscing about, that never really existed. There were more (knowledgeable) characters and more decent debates/disputes (about the job) a while back, we've lost a few, I see them on other social media stuff like FB and IG. I hope they work their way back here.
  11. Of all the terrible crimes in this world, altering someone's post like that is one of the worst, not funny or clever.
  12. Large lump of cedar being moved, imagine ringing up and handballing this and 15 others like it!
  13. Don't leave the dog hanging there, he needs a high five.
  14. I've got both, same output. Honestly cannot tell the difference if the chains are both good.
  15. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_of_Conservative_Clubs http://www.uk-socialclubs.co.uk/halls/ST/64163.php Did a little research Kevin, not common but they do exist.
  16. Great vid, tricky looking balancing of horizontals.
  17. Nice to see you pop in Tony, what are your regrets? And if you've time how's things going in Bulgaria?
  18. Use it to get a fire going, after a while the end melts anyway. I prefer round for dissipating sawdust on lawns. Also round ones are better for levitating tennis balls, providing minutes of fun.
