  1. I think if I tried it would have ended badly for me!
  2. I used farmers when I was in the UK, but as Bob says they need to be treated right. The most recent one sold firewood so he got he got all that, chip to the power stations, so that worked out well. At any moment the situation can change, burning of rubbish was getting more problematic by the time I left (2005) One problem I had was one of the lads arriving late and speeding through the farm yard, sending the farmer (who had young children) mental.
  3. I thought the glyphosate based ‘ecoplugs’ were de rigueur at the moment.
  4. Go to the search function and put in ‘training’ you will find a myriad of threads for people in your boots. Good luck.
  5. What for? You’re not wearing them to the disco.
  6. I know, he’s a completely irony free zone.
  7. He has been posting this sort of stuff for years. Telling us how he was going to sell his house to buy a big cherry picker take over the world etc. He received some good advice re. pricing etc. Turned out he bottled that and carried on twiddling levers When it was just a post as part of a thread he was mostly ignored or laughed at. His original post on this thread was boasting, and changing the thread title from “how to grow your business” to “how many hours do you work?” Doesn’t change that.
  8. The owners of the tree are a firm of solicitors, according to the article. Which will be handy.
  9. Maybe Ronaldo’s performance will start a kind of arms race, inspiring Messi to great deeds, like they do in La Liga. 4 games today, this could be a punishing month for marital harmony.
  10. Maybe have a shot at the Euros, who knows?
  11. Thanks, but I’m happily married.
  12. Me’n’Igor scopin’ fo bitches.
  13. What it feels like to be Scottish when it’s the World Cup...
  14. What the City/Brazil forward, Ronaldo or Costa?
  15. To be fair to the bloke he’s had the job since he was two years old. Now THATS commitment.
  16. Nice work and pics Ian. Finishing up a three day oak clearance and grind, nice way to see off the week. No climb Friday, should be a hashtag or something.
  17. Considering how common it is, it’s amazing how many times it comes up in the ident thread.
  18. Oh I’m fine, carried on working, no real damage. good luck in your search.
  19. Done two days ago, no lasting damage, rigging error. Not relevant to your question I know, but I had big protective boots on. I have eschewed them in the past due to cost and comfort issues. I am pretty sure without them I’d be in a hospital bed right now looking at a smashed foot and a long time off work.
