Sure hope it was the right guy!
Apparently yes, Seattle police commissioner did a piece to camera
about it later in the Twitter thread.

I suppose it makes sense to be sure, it’s in no one’s interests that he survives, especially badly injured, no point in saving bullets for a rainy day.
He had a gun and was about to use it.

The pink sheet/towel sets it off very nicely Mick! Beautiful flowers as always.
No criticism but I feel that the colour of the stone isn't the best as a backdrop to that flower colour; do you have space to plant a strong blue Wisteria? That would be stunning against the pale stone
Jon
Fair comment.
The bluey purple ones are more vigorous over here, these more delicate pinky ones aren’t very common.
I won’t be here to see a new one reach maturity on this house, so I’ll have to make do.

Pleased with that, going nowhere, bit of thinking and worked it out. -
Depends if he starts ‘worrying’ it.
Some dogs do, some don’t.

I've started using 'crate' as a start word.
Worked well the last two days.
I tried that, but throwing in a new first word every day is part of the fun.

Anyway, no obligatory first words, it’s an infringement of my hooman rights.

Yes but I can't be bothereed with not having the vowels. Once I have them I try to be clever.
Vowels are of little interest to me, easily found after the important ‘steering’ consonants get identified.

I'm not sure that pen and paper is allowed you know. WTF!
One of the frustrations is that you can't fill in boxes from the rhs. I.e. if you've got some green letters towards the end of the word, you can't put them in first to give you a feel for what the beginning letters might be. Tricky to explain.
Just use O or X for the letters you don’t know to get a feel for the word.

Well if first guess of daisy gives me ****D i might guess OUTER rather than ROUTE, because lots of words end with ED. I can't be bothered getting too clever about it until I have all the vowels and Y out.
Unusual methodology.
’getting clever about it’ is the point isn’t it?

Only trouble in your cunning plan is everyone will know what letters you got right looking at your squares.Even Bolam will figure that out.
