  1. Hello, We have a 15 hectare mixed broadleaf woodland in West Dorset (ash, oak, cherry, lime, field maple). Trees are 13 years old (ash have done best) and we want to start thinning. We have a licence. It is a flat site, the trees are in blocks accessed by wide rides. Does anyone have an idea of the price for standing timber in this area? Or would it be financially worthwhile to do the work ourselves and sell cord wood to a firewood contactor? Thanks
