1.
Hi Mick yes got them thanks, i'll bring a collection of spanners and a socket set, that should be enough to remove it, again very much appreciated. Are you sure there isn't anything something you'll take for it?

 2.
Ah I understand, yeah it might take a bit of time this one, but sure plenty of rainy days coming up, good excuse to spend some time in the shed!

 3.
Thanks Steve, whats a clam engine? Thanks for the advice, I'll make sure not to go poking about the rest of the saw, I think the crank bearings are fine so pop on the new barrel and piston, filters and plug, end of. Why does everyone on the forum think the 029 and 039 are so bad, I can't speak for the 029 but have used an 039 many times and its a good enough saw.

 4.
Hi Spudulike, Forest World Limited are a local parts firm with an ebay shop. The guy says Meteor do pistons for the 029 but not barrels. He offered me a Hyway kit including piston and barrel for £60, does this sound about right? thanks

 5.
Hi Bill do you still have the old huskqvarnas for sale? Thanks, John
