  1. I have a very similar one. As stated above, chinese copy honda engine, which has been very reliable. The biggest issue is the blade. It is very thin and likes to have a bit of a wobble after a cut. They may have improved the blade by now. I  think I paid £600-ish new, certainly wouldn't want to pay £1650 for one. Was going to sell mine for £300 the other week, but sold the processor instead.

  2. 400 is a cracking saw. As an all rounder, be hard to beat. Light, flick-able and plenty of power. My only gripe is the small fuel tank. As a ground saw in arb you may not notice it so much. Came with a 20", but I run an 18" as I find it nicer for snedding. You will soon forget about the £200 extra.
