If it's rescue rope it's likely to definitely be worthy of use with regards to weight bearing capability but maybe not so forgiving if you fall. Assuming your not using it for rigging heavy kit and climbing I'd use it with the assumption that if it's good enough for search and rescue it's good enough for arb. I hate to say it, but this was an organised haul, it wasnt just chainsaws. Have a look at the list, you would need two possibly three vehicles to shift that. Its not petty crime when it was vehicles as well as heavy machinery(tracked chipper, wood splitter, polaris ranger) They even took plants that we were planting to the cost of around 6k, i mean plants in tubs that were in 80ltr pots!!!

Sorry, Rich Rule, nice to hear from you bud. It was my anniversary! April 1st only fools fall in love eh! The police reckon it was someone that we know or who lives closeby , Of course we're not too friendly with the neighbours, but there is literally another tree surgeon on the same road as mine with less security, just a metal 5 bar gate, but the thieves picked us. Called out to clear a ships macerator pump in a **** tank! On Christmas Day only to find after stripping pump for 2 hrs a pair of underwear that was flushed down the loo because the person had followed through!

the employer has 28 days maximum to pay him, he cannot withhold payment for hrs worked, and to have a retrospect confidentiality agreement is IMO bollox, the liability lies with the employer not the employee, if however he is self employed i think its different but the 28 days max still applies. this may be old though. The petzl ones are full harnesses but not much padding on them, i dollied the kids ones with seatbelt protectors for the shoulders and thigh straps, which kept them happy!

I have green mech quadtrak 160. It's a beast, I love it, just changed the belts on it and done a strip down rebuild in two days, Kubota engine is a wee gem. I have however had it shut down on me twice for overheating as the mesh in front of the engine fan blocks up frequently! If you keep on top of it it's ok. Blade changes are a bit fiddly but they just really need rotating on the square blades other than that i don't have a bad thing to say about it!

I have both the 357 and the 560 xp I must say I prefer the 357 had it since 2007 and still starts better than the 560 in the cold so I understand where your dads coming from!

We have those on our summer helmets😳 we use kask/ stein/ petzl generic but they do scratch up easy, as they have next to no protective coatings and arent made of the best material! I wear a pfanner protos, it has integrated specs for the sun and i have never found it to get too steamy under it, infact id say that its really well ventilated, and i do break a sweat every now and then, especially working gorse in the forest.

Years ago i was on a commercial diving job in friston forest, we had winches, tripods, confined space eqpt, ROV's, about 1.5 ton of AV cable on a drum, the landy we had towing it got stuck! the FORD RANGER which belonged to the park towed us out! it did however strip a drive shaft clean of its splines on one wheel, it still got us out. bloody awesome litttle pick ups!

WOW! personally having operated an excavator as probably most of you have, i would have full throttle and tracked away ASAP, he decided to turn the body, from instinct it seems that as soon as something is going to fall on you you turn your back on it, its inbuilt as a form of safety mechanisms to protect your organs.
