  1. Hi I am a ground person but I want to be a climber. I am with the company 3 months. The company does offer training but I don't know when or if they will offer it to me. I was thinking should I just go ahead and take rope access training course Irata on my own? Or should I work 1 year and see if they offer me training and a climber position? If the company doesn't then I take training and apply for another job? What do you guys think?
  2. I am new to rock climbing Is it okay to use an industrial harness like the petzl avao bod to rock climb Or rock climbing should be used with those harness like the petzl falcon?
  3. I looked up more vertex best , some of the model (that patch on the front to attach headlamp ,it says vertex best on it) are black and some are grey? What's the difference?
  4. Because it's for work vents can pose hazard( example nails.bolts pins can drop on me) I need to work climbing hats and bit normal hard hats because I need the strap
  5. My alveo overall dimension is 73cm I am looking for a smaller helmet Anyone can tell me the overall dimension for the vertex Btw afaik means as far as I know
  6. I am looking to buy a new climbing helmet . I currently have the alveo best I came across the vertex 2 on web sites I was wondering the difference between the vertex and the vertex2 I tried looking for more Infos on the vertex 2 I don't seem to find it I also checked the petzl website it does not say anything about the vertex 2 Does anyone know the difference? Any recommendations on helmets (no vents since it's for work and health and safety does not allow holes) I want a helmet whose overall dimensions aren't too big My alveo best is huge in terms of overall dimensions
