  2. Sorry to all the englishmen out there but im going to speak dutch to my fellow countryman Goed bezig jeroen! Aantal tips voor het klimmen *haal jezelf een lijntas, hoeft niet veel te kosten en zorg ervoor dat je grondman wanneer hij niets te doen heeft je lijn in de tas doet *ga meer in je lijn hangen i.p.v. om de stam heen dit is energiebesparend en veiliger *probeer altijd dubbel gezekerd te zijn *neem je tijd bij je snedes *heb een duidelijk plan voordat je boom ingaat en wat voor tips de engelsen je gegeven hebben Voor de rest zag het er heel erg goed uit, altijd 2 handen aan de zaag de kettingrem er gelijk op als je klaar was Waar heb je leren klimmen?(cursus gevolgd)
  3. [ame] [/ame] Hey lads, Had to take down a couple of alders that grew onto a pipeline Realised how snappy alders are and how you cannot send them in any other direction except where they are growing towards
  4. [ame] [/ame] Made a tree swing with some colleagues here in the UK sure a lot of fun for the first time. i would definately advise it to anyone to try it sometime!
  5. Surething it would've been horrible rigging them em and getting them trough the garden No the crane was out of reach, had a little dicussion with the operator beforehand so he knew what was going to happen.
  6. [ame] [/ame]Had a nice crane operation going on a couple of weeks back, just cranelifted them out of the backyard en used them as timber. Attach the chain en cut them up pretty much. Hope you enjoy, Pascal

  8. i think it was about 35 meters..... a long ways up! Yes very snappy indeed, got me stumbled the first time i cut one off
  9. [ame] [/ame] Had to strip down some douglas firs as part of a logging operation to minimalize damage to the surrounding trees. it was a Fun and exiting job
  10. Hello my name is pascal I am a 19 year old student from the Netherlands who will be working an internship as an arborist in fair oak close to eastleigh. But i have a hard time finding a room in eastleigh since i will arrive and want to move in right away. The time of my stay will be from the 20th of february untill the 10th of april. So my question to arbtalk is: does anyone in the neighbourhood of eastleigh have a spare room where i can stay during this period(paid ofcourse) Hopefully someone can help me.   18. Hello everybody my name is Pascal I am a 19 y/o student who is currently studying forestry in the Netherlands. Next year i will have to do an internship for 10 weeks from the 13th of april till the 19th of june and it's possible for me to work the summer vacation as well i allready have quite an experience in the trait, have done 3 previous internships at arborists as well all 3 i worked as a climber. started my own business as a freelance arborist, now i mostly get hired by the big guys whenever i don't have college. i have my own equipment If you are interested please PM me with kind regards Pascal Oosterik
