  1. Don't know if any use to you guys but i've just listed a load of books on ebay from when I did my degree, there are some real rare ones in there including the usual Shigo/Matheck etc, if you pop me an offer say you're off here and i'll accept a lower price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/elspedo/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
  2. Apologies that does look really dark on my work computer too, didn't seem to bad at home. Here is another image I have found of it:
  3. Hi all, I'm doing a study on some veteran trees as part of my course and have come across the veteran oak near me via the ancient tree hunt site, could anybody shed any light on the possible causes of the bottle-butt for me to research? My initial thought was pseudoinonotus dryadeus but I have been unable to find any fruiting bodies so it's making me look for other causes. Thanks
  4. I'm doing the FdSc at Myerscough and like you have found there is too much of a reliance on just pumping out the work and not really giving the pupils any support, many of the pupil to tutor message boards go unchecked and emails go unanswered for weeks having to chase them multiple times to get an answer so i've found it really hard to get answers on specific things which I know has affected my grades. I've made the decision not to carry on to the BSc with Myerscough because of this as I don't think it's worth my time/money if it's not being supported at the other end.
  5. 100% Pay peanuts and get monkeys! I'm constantly surprised trying to get in to this industry with potential employers trying to offer day rates which work out well below minimum wage.
  6. <p>Hi how about a contact number ? Or are you keeping it a secret.?.</p>

  7. My exact problem! I buy the books expecting to take them in-in some kind of Matrix speed reading fashion and then procrastination takes over!

<p>Hi, the majority of the stuff I do now is working for charities/volunteer organisations, which has been good up to now and has put me through most of my training but I could with making some money out of it.</p>

    <p> </p>

    <p>Cheers</p>

    <p>In reply to your employment post: <a href="http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/employment/102701-looking-work-lancashire.html" rel="external nofollow">http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/employment/102701-looking-work-lancashire.html</a> </p>

<p>Have you tried getting some volunteer time with the national trust, woodland trust or forestry commission? They all have volunteer schemes and would make good use of you and your new found skills. </p>

    <p> </p>

<p>I appreciate you were looking for a firm, but this type of volunteering is a good way to consolidate while finding the right position for you.</p>
