The largest recreational tree climbing company in the UK urgently requires instructors for events this weekend.
The Role
You will be required to work alongside a team leader to deliver recreational tree climbing and a zip wire to up to 42 participants in a day. Participants have paid a premium price to take part in a unique, hour long experience in small groups. The event days generally last 8am-5pm (including setting up and taking down equipment). The events this weekend are taking place in:
Saturday: North London, Stroud, Henley-on-Thames
Sunday: Dorking, Wokingham, Worcester
As it is short notice we understand candidates may only be able to help on one of the days; however being able to help on both is advantageous.
If successful on the day(s) of work regular future work is available on a freelance basis.
The Candidate
Essential:
-CS 38 (climbing and aerial rescue qualified) , or soon to be qualified and understand the basic principles.
-physically fit and healthy
-smart and presentable appearance
-live near one of the work locations mentioned, or be able to commute to the location.
-be over 18 years old
-has no criminal convictions which result in you being unable to work with children
Desirable:
-experience working with children
-have a car and driving licence
Pay
£70 a day (you will be working as self-employed and need to provide an invoice)
If working two consecutive days and staying overnight in local accommodation (paid for) an additional £15 will be paid towards expenses.
