Thanks, me and the missus have been crying with laughter at this thread!

A myopic tree surgeon named Lee
Trapped an agile young wench in a tree
Said she "move your whopper, you careless limb chopper
That's a moss covered knot hole, not me'"

There has too be a story behind the pink bar ?
Ste
Yup... A good friend wanted to use my saw on a Saturday, and I wanted to make the experience 'memorable' for him. He's a 6' rugby playing guts and glory type and I knew the pink bar would disgust/humiliate him in equal measure. Worked a treat :-)

That's the longest tail I've ever seen
Just noticed that.. Nice one!

Wrap a whole load of insulating tape round the buzzer. It will make it a hell of a lot quieter.

Glad to hear it, impressive stuff!
My elbows are half shot, and I'm only 25, it's comforting to know that by the time im your age I'll most likely be able to replace them!
Whoever buys them will probably regret it .Who is going to buy Joe's old elbows?

So as the ram goes up, it pulls the log upright? Good thinking...

Following this thread with interest. I know a lot of guys that would go for this service straight away. Keep us informed.

Get on the phone to Trailparts (01923 253366) - proper trailer parts company in Watford, and they happily post next day. They even send out sweets n chocolate bars with every order.... Just been quoted by them £70 for genuine parts to fix a road tow air compressor as opposed to indespensions £150.....
-
All welded construction, as opposed to bolted together like Ifor. Very good trailers, can seriously take abuse, I should know, I used to service them... Definitely recommend them, not better than Ifor but would be the only other make of trailer I would buy.

Any pics? Sounds interesting....

Snap-on original top is beech and costs about £350 from them.. Really nice to work on, wouldn't go back to plain old rubber. Fair play for attempting to make it, make sure you show some pics when you're done.

Nice work Nathan. Look forward to seeing the video.

Anyone who wouldn't want that needs their head examining imo:laugh1:
I'd have 2:thumbup:
Thoroughly agree :-)

Stop worrying about the weight, it's not important. These logs have been 'Cut Up By A Professional Tree Surgeon'. That is what counts. Perhaps that makes them burn better. :-)

Total train weight is nearly quarters of three quarters of a ton lighter
Braking system is far superior ABS and 4x4 linked in a superior way
Tyres are wider and for Tarmac as opposed to off-road
Visibility is far superior
Wipers work better in heavy rain
Ice alerts
Driver and passenger and curtain airbags
Better headlights and brighter brake and indicators
More power for overtaking a slow cyclist up a hill
Cruise control for keeping to speed limits
Climate control for increasing driver comfort and decreasing fatigue
Better seats for the same result
Journey would be quicker so again less fatigue
Journey would be quieter ditto
Lane wandering warning system
Better horn
Less chance of breaking down and being stranded on the side of the road with all the dangers that entails
Far better fuel consumption so probably do it on a tank,no time lost as there would be with Landie constant fill ups
I am sure I will think of some more things to post later
(Moderator says " Please don't bother Billhook!")
Much as I love my landies, I'm with you on which vehicle I would rather tow with in that situation!! Good answer, Billhook.
