  1. Anyone else feeling it in the domestic market I can imagine it's not felt that much in commercial and utility work like power rail road.

Is this because the government can't curb inflation not to mention messing around with when to pull the lever on a general election?.

I also feel it's defineatly here as Facebook advertising sponsored ads has gone wild.

Hi all I'm thinking of starting a tree care company in the Midlands.

I'm looking to have a chat with a couple of existing business owners about starting up and just running some ideas through them and any advise they have.

If your interested please leave your contact details below and I'll we can arrange a conversation.

I'm not looking for free advise and would pay your time - 1/2 hour call.

    Cheers

Good luck wouldn't say it's the best time

Did you not know you were going to register beforehand ?
Pretty much the only thing you can do imo is suck it up on the private jobs, it's not really for the customer to pay 20% extra, or cancel them which won't look good.
Any business customers won't care if you add it.
You need to bare in mind that putting 20% on is not what you should really be doing, you will be reclaiming vat back on things so you need to deduct an appropriate proportion from the 20% you are trying to charge your customers.

To be honest it crept up on me and I miss interpreted the 12 month rule I thought it was April to April not a rolling 12 months.

ill have a look at what I can claim vat back on the month and see if that will work

Be aware of the ropes characteristics as some can milk quite a bit. If you've spliced both ends, there is nowhere to go.

Also a nightmare if you're using mechanicals

    what does milk mean?

I do use a zigzag just thought it was would be good for srt to

I had it done 6/7 years ago now but it was around 4K.....kept it simple to keep cost down such as not having double barn doors and no chip shield...not having both hasn’t ever been an issue....I will be changing it at the end of the year...she has done me well and is on 225k and went through recent MOT with just a number plate bulb needed.

They just keep going rot out before engines go

It’s fine can get quite a good load in there but obviously not as much as a transit tipper etc but if I know I need more capacity on bigger jobs I either allow for a couple of load drops at a convenient tip site or on bigger jobs I always get more lads with there Trucks...but my ranger suits my needs 95% of the time and I will always have a 4x4 tipper anyway it’s just my preference.

See ive already got a cabstar tipper with full arb body probably get 6 cube in it full full
