  1. For £100 £2.70 isn't much but if the bill is £3000 let's say that's £81 !! I use a PayPal card reader linked to the phone works fine on G3 And if the customer want to pay buy credit card they pay the fee..
  2. Just a quick update.. Frame work for the toolbox c/w hinging self/compartment for the fibreglass pole bag and the rear posts Just a few more little details to add before painting and then the best bit begins!!
  3. We are starting on this transit tomorrow! I'll post the results when we've finished.. Extended sides, built in toolbox, roof panel, air/chip baffle on headboard all in alloy!
  4. Would you want the same features or more/less ? We are still in development/refinement stage and I guess research as well if demand isn't there then we may not go ahead with the project!! I just think we could offer a product that is more developed from a end user point a view instead a manufactures view! More operator friendly, more optional features, the option to have a custom unit for prototype, DIY projects The technology options are endless The cost is always the issue! But as we maybe cutting on many middle men do to speak low production figures kind of counter acts that!!
  5. We recondition/service exchange Jensen style control boards And we are currently developing our own universal unit with a plan to sell it as a complete kit or just the controller in a box on its own! What kind type of unit were you looking for?
  6. Angus has been back on it for one episode! Before he went back to school, but now school is out maybe he might return?
  7. Just found a couple more photos!!
  8. I wasn't putting down anyone intentionally directly! I prefer to sit on the fence and try to insure a fair fight for the side not being represented fairly At the end of the day we fix all chipper makes and have a full mixture in our customer base I personally like the Jensen range but they still have there faults ! The Forst is still a new baby in the world and some may have the reasons to dig because of disappointment but it's new it's not perfect but it's constantly being improved ! If a linch mob started slagging Timberwolf off I would speak up in defence if I disagreed! Every chipper has its place in the market be it light weight, compact, robust, large, or fast! How many end users/company bought their chipper because of price or weight !! Did that result in the right machine for the job they are doing? I wouldn't want to be the one choosing! They are all good in one way or another but then they are all burdened with their own faults Which leave buying more often than not down to personal preference! At the end of the day I fix them all and try to use them as little as poss! 😉
  9. Shovel!! Lol I'am already sitting on the digger!!! The sides will either hold or crumble only time will tell !!! 😜
  10. Isn't yours joined/welded between the straight part and the semi circle part? Where the dotted line is!
  11. Both! It was all steel apart from the 2 top side sections which were already fitted in alloy. We remade the rest of the body as described above
  12. No don't be daft !! For the the truck body as well
  13. I think the whole job came to about 5k
  14. Like everything! It comes to an end sooner or later!!
  15. Interestingly my point earlier was still correct up until recently!! Which still highlighted the point of the post which was back stabbing or slagging off isn't needed!
  16. Well that's a bit of new news then! That there changes things somewhat Did you email them direct then?
  17. It was blasted etched primed, coated wth Shultz shone chip which the bonnet was rubbed down again to gain a smoother finish then it was sprayed with 2pak paint as it gives you a harder wearing finish with the a long lasting shine.
  18. Funny how the mention of Redwood have some how parted company with Jensen!! So there is a Jensen Dealer Network Fine! And there is Redwood also a Jensen importer and parts stockist ( almost the biggest parts stockist) So you can choose who you buy from So why I ask does it keep coming up that Redwood are no longer Jensen dealers/Importer ?? It's simple they are! They may not be on the Jensen web site probably due to a known Forst! There's enough custom out there for everyone and allies and better than enemy's Honesty is also better than slander!
  19. We built this truck as a one off job for a good customer which included re-fabricating the floor supports due to rust fitting a 5 mm alloy floor, replacing the steel drop sides for alloy, making a alloy box at the front plus a alloy door each side, roof panel ladder rack platform, headboard panel with air vent behind, removable cross bar on the back at the top, replaced the steel drop tailgate for a alloy tailgate which swings both ways!, we also fitted 12v power points to the rear and front to plug in beacons as needed, we then repainted the sides and the TW150 green, Amber flashing lights were fitted to the rear of the chipper including led strips to the front and rear of the mudguards (white & red) To assist reversing in the dark! This was done a couple of years ago We have just been asked to do a transit crew-cab tipper by another good customer I'll post detail when we start!!
  20. Regular maintenance! Regular cleaning Always grease bearings after washing Check/clean air filter regular Check belt condition&tension regular Replace worn or missing parts asap Change/sharpen teeth regular Use with care and don't rush in use There isn't much more you can do Apart from DONT USE IT!!!
