1. I am keeping an eye on the Akimbo, using the rope runner these days but this has perked my interest to say the least.
2. For me Cougar blue and its so good, no as much bounce as tacyon.
3. Thats a good question, I tested this out today and in some situations this is great. I find that the minty can be a bit temperamental on retrieval and at that point I would rather go with a static redirect and retrieve it myself. Will give the bomb proof batman ago soon though, but both of these require another line and some times this set up will be much quicker. Also this can be way more useful then setting up a 3:1 every time. Thats my 2 cents.
4. Was just having a look through You tube and found this. [ame] [/ame] Sorry if this has been posted before. But this looks like the best redirect I have seen, well maybe apart from the whole 3x rope thing ha ha, but it follows the whole KISS (keep it simple stupid lol) thing to a whole new level. What does every one else think?
5. I got my one 2 weeks ago and man are they amazing!!!! they make every climb so much easier!!! I use it on drt and srt (though have a cambium saver in for drt) I am super happy with it I got a spacer with mine for the other spike. Get it and love it!!!!
6. My 2 cents...GET THE APTA!!! It's the best thing ever!!! Been using it all week, it's so acurate it's a joke. Big shot is cool but the APTA is God like!!!
7. Howdy all, I went for a Rec climb yesterday and I was so not in the zone it was a joke!!! Completely unfooted, not getting my rope swings down and generally not feeling it at all. Do other people get this often? I have been climbing for ages and always feel comfortable and get some thing going but it was embarrassing lol. I have a competiton coming soon so need to find a way to get in the zone every time lol.
8.
Hi there, I saw that you gave some people a copy of your risk assessment forms before. Would it be possible if you sent a copy over to me at my email? its

9.
Hi there mate, cheers for the help. My email is thanks dude <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/ 2x" width="20" height="20" />

10. I got the that off there but I wanted to find the second part of it. I can not find it on there for some reason
11. Hi there guys, I am just in the process of starting to implement risk assessments at my new company. Now I have used a few templates before and I am comfortable with these ones (see attached file). Does any one know where to get the other part of this form? It has on a separate sheet sections for environmental considerations and also climbing, and equipment and so so and so on. Also if any one has a good template that would be amazing. Risk assesment.doc
12. Howdy all, I was looking on you tube and found a vid of the new haas which is cool but the thing that caught my eye is it looks like the climber has a lanyard made out of Sirius rope.... Can you do this and also what is the friction hitch cord? Here is the vid so you can see what i mean. Go to 4 min in and watch a little you will see what I mean.
13. Thanks for the replies, some really helpful stuff here. Luckily I got rained off today so lots of studying and writing. I will het a few books to complement what i find online now. But thanks again for all the sound advice. Time to hit the books hard!!!!
14. Hi there, So straight into it, I have been given a pre entry test for the online foundation degree. Now my subject is a 2000 word report describing the most significant anatomical structures and mechanisms by which trees defend themselves against damage by both living organisms and non living organisms. Now to the problem, I have 10 days to complete this in and they have not given me and reading lists at all. Plus once I down loaded the course information and looked at the reading list for the module that would be most applicable for this report it turns about all the books are £40 plus and so are the journals. So with that in mind does any one here have a good sources for information on this subject? I don't mind buying some books for this but I will need about 10 sources and that adds up real quick. Any help on this would be amazing guys. All the best. Jimmy
15. I would be moving in to ontario, living in Toronto. Its just I wish some one would want to go through the LMO process.
16. Hi all, so let me get down to it. So I want to move to Canada to live and work (as you do lol) so I put the feelers out and had skype interviews and been kver there to see people and so on and I have been offered every job I have gone for which is great... but the cursed LMO! Oh my god this is such a pain, no one wants to apply for it at all and the few places that said they would said as I do not have a degree they wont! Which is funny as I am more then qualified as I have 9 years experience and ontop of that the process does not require me to have one and this is after me saying I would pay for the process and my immigration consultant would do all the paper work for them! So does any one know a way of getting over there because this is drivjng me crazy! I can earn so much over there and plus I would get to be with my canadian girlfriend lol. Any help would be very appreciated.
