  2. Ok manual doesn't say anywhere  what head it is but google tells me  a T45X.

Exclusively designed by Husqvarna the T45X trimmer head features a semi-automatic cord feed system “Tap’n go“ and...

I use 4mm string in a fixed oregon jet fit head rather than a bump head.

Never tried the oregon jet head why are they better than a bump?

Ok the jet head takes a thicker cord, but 3.3m on the bump is pretty chunky but I imagine thats round stuff so 3.3mm square may not feed..

    So 3mm square max prehaps....

    4mm for grass seems OTT?

Huskys "strimmers" are   new for  me & im  trying to optimize it for mowing grass...

For brambles I have an oregon mulch blade...

Seems the M12 threads are different pitch so not compatible  with stihl heads.

  3. Fancy  a new roll for a 545rxt with a bump head for thick grass.

Only have some oregon Flexiblade left 2.65mm im using atm. Seems abit  fragile along stones & fences v others  but the saws edges works well on fat stemed weeds but seeem not the best line in thick grass....

I  seem to recall some  oregon nyluim was better on grass & the square yellow type also.

Thinking of trying either the 3mm stihl square yellow or maybe try  the 2.7mm desert stuff  as that seems to have alot of hype?

Will 3mm square be ok as in not to big for the   husky bump head eyelets?

Soft grass species thats fallen over trampled down is annoying takes alot  longer  than upright grass

Holcus lanatus  is the annoying one i think it  forms right dense mat when it falls over

  4. Ive had one say trees get  "out  of control" as a reason for wanting to masscare some  trees 200m from house  so not any of the above normal issues.

There opinion was  all trees in the countryside as a whole  need to be regulary topped so as to  kept "under control"  🤔

  5.

I didnt see the point in a multitool when attachments are so  expensive doesn't save much money really, so went for  dedicated tools for  makita 18v bats

Also I like proper bullhorn handles on strimmers but how big is the garden might be OTT?

Depends on the lady. Ive uses one of the  stihl long reach cordless hegders (probably a cheaper versions) wasn't a  very good machine  but im sure most ladies could use it weight wise kind similar to petrol i think with regards to weight so maybe not for a long time?

I prefer if possible  ladders & step ups and conventional reach machines ergonomically

With a step up u can cut 6ft hegde tops at waist height

  6. Seems LPG use has declined & now nearly gone extinct in UK.

But seems  a good sytem that makes sense

Might be handy if france has ULEZ? (Paris is supposedly banning diesel etc in 2025 might other cities follow?)

This says its still growing but maybe is PR?

    AUTO-GAS.NET

Autogas keeps expanding in France as 4,528 new LPG-powered vehicles were registered in January 2023, compared to 2,939...

& only 4000 is still  very small percentage of new vechicles?

No good of all the LRG gas stations are gradually closed down  esp 5yrs time etc.

  7. Hmm maybe

A 3l fuel can will defo last a day (its about 6 tanks used on a makita ea4300 as fuel tank is 480ml ) esp  if also you spend half the time carrying out stuff but not so sure on batteries,  but ive never tried the husky battery saws only the  makita cordless  one.

A like the  battery saws for small garden jobs hegdes  etc its ideal.  I have 8 batteries with it which is the same total juice as 2 300BLi.

Bur they wouldn't last as long doing what the 3l of fuel does.

The mass-based energy density of batteries is in the range of 0.1 to 0.27 kWh/kg. In comparison, gasoline is 13 kWh/kg

OP maybe should cut everything then hire a mini tracked barrow for a day if there is acess....
