  1. Hi Lads, yeah sorry I've put the wrong prices up there. Those are our retail, collected from the yard price (£118/£88 delivered). The correct wholesale prices are £65 for soft and £90 for hard. The volume of the crates taking into account for the bulge of the wire when filled is ~1.1m3. (The one I measured before came to 1.15m3 so theres it could be a little either way.) James
  2. Hardwood - £100/Crate Softwood - £75/Crate (Prices are collected from the yard) We have approximately 300 crates available. Our hardwood bulk crates contain a mixture of wood including; Silver Birch, Ash, Sycamore, Beech and Oak. Our softwood bulk crates contain a mixture of wood including; Larch, Douglas Fir & Scots Pine All of our wood is felled and stored in lengths for up to a year then processed and stored/seasoned in crates for a further year ensuring that our logs are at a moisture content between 15-23%, guaranteed. We use a Japa 385 Expert ensuring that the logs are a uniform size (9-10 inches) and split into regular sizes. A crate holds 1.15 cubic meters of loose logs. As a business we have been supplying the Northumberland & Durham areas for a number of years now and have received nothing but praise for our logs. For further information please email James at '[email protected]' or alternatively call on 07912790752. To view the logs please visit our website (www.newlandsfirewood.co.uk) Thanks, James

  4. Looking for a supplier of good quality kindling in the north east, will buy a couple of pallets at a time. Could you pm me with prices Thanks Ben
  5. I wouldn't have a problem hiring people in to process stuff we can't handle. There's a day or two work if the figures added up, south Northumberland.
  6. Floods last week turned to snow this weekend, busy week of logs ahead!
  7. Hardwood £118 per cube delivered within 20 miles
  8. I've just finished processing a mix of ash, beech, sycamore and birch 70 ton in total. Ended up with 153m3. So just shy of 2.2m3 per ton
  9. No but here's the new video of it [ame] [/ame]
  10. When I looked they were £15-£25 and couldn't find 400 of them. These are £4-£5.
  11. Just tack the wire on with fencing staples. I use the wire bent back around and cable ties to fix the wire together, surprised how long they last into the 3rd year and haven't had to replace one cable tie yet! Cheap and fast to build.
  12. 1.2m by 1m and standard stock fencing wire. Let's plenty of air through!
  13. Slowed right down now only 2 cube this week. It's givin us a chance get sorted for next winter, another week and should be done!
