  1. Ready for winter….all our heating & hot water from our log gasification boiler. All wood from arb work within 25miles from us…trying to do our bit to reduce carbon footprint…
  2. We tried to estimate height but always difficult, our climber went to his anchor point with a 60m rope and was way to short...during the dismantle he had to put a re direct in and given the crown was probably 20m across always better to be on the safe side.
  3. Yep we did, only a septic tank to avoid this time..once it’d been stripped out didn’t actually go that deep.
  4. Yep, 100m climbing rope and wouldn’t have wanted any shorter!
  5. Yep it did!! Ideal to be able to fell the stick!!
  6. Poplar dismantles this week first one down onto the second tomorrow [emoji4]
  7. We’ve only had it a couple of months but really pleased with it so far.....really good to drive and has the 3L engine so plenty of power.
  8. We’ve had a cracking few days in the New Forest dismantling ash with die back.
  9. Started a lime tree reduction today due to decay at base of right hand tree..throw line stuck as expected. Looks a bit flat topped in photos but better from other side!
  10. Copper Beech tree reduction. Not today but recent..
  11. Willow tree reduction done yesterday
  12. Pallets for base and back. Roof held down with cable ties & string..
  13. Thanks Mark, what time of year would you think best?
