  1. Great ID, there are loads of these things on Oak from the spangle gauls on the leaves to the knopper gauls, marbleson the acorns. And the chunky Oak apples. It's amazing what a chemical reaction can produce in trees as a result of an egg being laid....

  4. Hello All, I'm looking for a regular supplier of large sections of English oak. Straight timber is of no use to me so I need large irregular crowns. I'm particularly interested in buying complete trees that have been felled for tree safety reasons. The more character, shakes, splits, holes and burrs the better. I also need very long sections with extreme bends in them. Please get in touch if you can supply Cheers
