We carry out work throughout Devon and surrounding counties. Our clients include local authorities, schools, developers, civil engineering companies as well as domestic clients. A large portion of our business is undertaken on the railway, so experience in working in this environment would be very desirable. PTS card would be a big bonus. Applicants must be: NPTC qualified – CS30/31//38/39/ At least 2 years climbing experience would be preferable. Work to an extremely high standard of both safety and quality. RJM Forestry is a fast growing tree surgery company, based in Exeter working predominantly in the Utilities industry and Public Sector. RJM is looking to recruit an experienced & qualified Arborist/Climber & Team Leaders to work as part of a three person cutting team carrying tree clearance works in Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth. Candidates will be required to travel to our yard on the outskirts of Exeter to arrive at 07.30, usually back to the yard for 16.30. Basic hours are 40 per week with potential for overtime at weekends. A strong work ethic is required, industry experience is desirable. Candidates need to be flexible & reliable, have a proven knowledge of all aspects of tree works & must have the below requirements. The Ideal Candidate would meet the following: Climbing experience with the use of a chain saw from a rope and harness. Possession of NPTC units cs30 cs31 cs38 cs39 as a minimum & the Utility Qualifications of UA1, UA1.2,UA2, UA2.2 & UA2.3 desirable. Hold a valid full driving license Experience in completing risk assessments and production reports/timesheets (Team Leaders only). Experience in supervising staff (T/L only) Desirable NPTC units cs40 and 41 MEWP Certificate Driving licence with B+E, C+E category
