  1. Thanks for help guys
  2. Does anybody know what side angle the Kubota G23 will safely work at? Got a job to do with a bit of an embankment and before I brick myself (normally only have jobs on flat ground) wondered if anybody else takes their machine to its limit.
  3. I have one awesome piece of kit, light weight, very comfortable and keeps your head cool! If you order one though I would advise getting a spare head band, they are absorb sweat and once its full water just runs down your face. If you have a spare you can swap it over at lunch or something. That just take two seconds if you where wondering.
  4. Thanks for the comments, those Tiger winches looks serious pieces of kit! The Krpan looks like a decent tool as well, I have just been looking at the Uniforest web page and I think their 60Hpro model looks like what we need. I will have to phone Riko UK and see what price they can do.
  5. Hi everyone would like to get some opinions on a new purchase we are thinking about at work. We are looking at getting a brand new six tonne tractor pro driven winch. It will be mostly pulling forty foot long spruce thinnings but may have the need to pull big stuff like mature windblown hardwoods . I have narrowed it down to two manufacturers Igland or Uniforest, any advice which is best or just personnel opinions greatly appreciated?
  6. I use Husqvarna technicals and they have so far been the best gloves with protection I have had. Mechanics make some good gloves if your not wanting protection though, a bit military looking but they are hard wearing, comfortable and well fitted.
