    Talking Elm Tree Services provide Domestic and Commercial arboricultural services from our office/yard which is based just outside of Norwich. We are currently looking for a new member to join our team initially, we can offer 2-3 days a week as a contractor, with the aim to expand our operations. Ideally we are looking for a minimum of a Second climber abilities (CS30,31,38 and 39 or equivalent) with a driving license. We would however welcome experienced climbers and can offer training to the right candidate. We also provide arboricultural consultancy services, so if you are suitably qualified ( level 3 +) and interested in gaining experience working in that environment ( CAD / Data acquisition training will be provided), that would be beneficial for all parties concerned. Mainly looking for a climber at the moment however groundsmen and consultants are always welcome. A driving license and CS30,31 are essential.     I am 29 years old and am based in Norwich. I have over 6 years experience in the industry and my NPTC tickets cs 30,31,38 and 39; a degree in Arboriculture and I am a Certified Lantra Profesional Tree Inspector. I can also come with my own gear ( truck, chainsaws, blower etc). I have the software and the knowledge /experience to carry out BS5837s, mortgage reports and tree safety reports if required.     Im in Germany at the moment and my company are looking for climbers however we are based a bit further north near cologne but do have work near Hamburg, so they may be able to base you up there... Let me know if your looking... the work here involves long hours and lots of travelling however they are good blokes i am working with...

    My uncle in south Africa ( swaziland )is headmaster at an agricultural college and they use some recently developed tree paint from the US( can't remember the brand but will find out!) . He has had amazing results with it , it's not like the damaging stuff from the 80s but actively encourages codit and occlusion of the wound , he mentioned that it used growth hormones... However water does not cause rot but acts as a barrier to most pathogens so don't worry about the cavity filling with water ...

    Heath field could be ok ... As the local council place closes at 1 on a Saturday ( north farm) ... In Brighton before I sorted out a regular place it varied but £25 was the average ( kps) and then they would make money out of the compost ( daylight robbery ; ) . I did eventually find a farmer who was happy for me to tip in exchange for the wood ...

    Sorry I must have replied in my pocket . Sorry to here about your cancer Rich . I have a grandad with stomach cancer who is now well and eating well , don't give up hope ... He had the stomach removed 6 months ago and was v depressed ( as he loves his food ) for 3 months but now can drink alcohol and eat all of his favourite foods , he describes it as a new lease on life it's really made him appreciate things and he's all singing and dancing at the age of 85 ; ) . Good luck with it all wishing you all the best .

    Thanks for all the replies chaps, I think im good to go in the morrow to continue my botch job ill post some pictures of the questionable washers ive used to repair another av mount on the saw ... Big thanks to Rich and Spud i am becoming an arb talk addict hopefully Ill be able to contribute something uself in the future .... Oh yeah im in Brighton BTW Rich so Dover may be a bit far but tanks for the offer and ill let you know how i get on.

    Sorry, Its the buffer at the bottom of the pull start... I did try to get at it but removing the pull start housing and bottom screws didnt do it, I'm in Brighton btw, im up for taking it to someone, but if i can do it myself i could do with the monies...

    No it wasnt the fuel as both tools are running, and other saws used the fuel although I was using someone elses mix...

    Hello there on my bench (or rather living room floor with an annoyed girlfriend glaring at me and complaining about smells ), I have an ms 200t which has sheared from the bottom of the handle ( the annular buffer ), i have tried to take the saw apart but got caught up with reassembling ( a previously working handle ), So back to square 1 do I have too completely disassemble the saw to get to the buffer ? ( http://bricomeca.free.fr/Stihl/stihl%20MS200T%20IPL.pdf ), If so how do i do this, do i need to remove the clutch and get at it from that side? Also i have a BG 86 blower with a sticky fuel pump button that won't run on full revs, guessing fuel line issue after attempting dissassemble, similar question which side do i start on do i need to block the piston to remove bits? Any help would be much appreciated , or if you think im out of my depth let me know, but as monies and time are of concern, I am relluctant to spend £35 just for a diagnosis ( local shops standard rate! ). Thanks for looking .
