hope all good and things ok workwise, just a quick question..I have a Evo165p on order and just switched the colours around to the main colour being green instead of black...basically how difficult would it be to have the fold down discharge shoot fitted to the 165p?

Glad all ok and thank you so much for getting back to me Ref fold down shute I have told Andy At Global about me contacting you about thorn possibility of adding the fold down Shute to the 165p I have on order and that i’am prepared to wait if it’s viable to retro fit.if you could keep me out date as to if it’s a goer to fit that would be great.

  2. Hi Khriss

right basically I did a job couple of years ago for a construction company removing various trees and stumps for a car dealership extension and car park and must have done a half decent job cause the company who i did the work for has come back to me.

we had a site meeting Monday at a school which they are tendering for a big extension and lots of other work and approximately 15 tress of various size and age need to come out.

Eden Arborculture has done the tree survey and report but not a bat survey.so I have spoken to the main man and advised him that if he wins the tender it would be in his interest before any trees are removed to spend some money on a bat survey just to cover himself.

so if he gets it can I call on you to come up and do a survey and written report to say if clear or not Of bats?

if yes could you give me ball park figure of what it will cost please.

    kind Regards

Hi Mate,  i will send you my number and get more details, could be a couple of days work or longer dependent on location and colonies, plus the usual legal constraints to cover. But looks interesting job  ?  K

  3. Hi jase hope all good with you buddy during these shity difficult times?Anyway want some advise,I have been working as normal and on Saturday I had a biggish job taking out a 10ft hedge which was as wide so lots of brash and branches to chip.

about an hour into using the Chipper all of a sudden mass’s Of white smoke comes bellowing out the exshaust and I mean loads, any way shut the refs down and it cleared and was fine but 10mins later it did it again and once more after that...should I be worried and any idea what it could be? No issues with engine and seems to be fine.

    many Thanks

      Hi Jase

had a call from Andy at Global today and we had a chat and basically I may have put to much oil in which may well be causing it to smoke but not 100% sure but when we talked about the starting issue he said it sounded like then fuel pump of which there has been some issues with and has advised not to use it.

so I will be dropping it over to Global tomorrow and swapping it for a Evo 165 until they change the fuel pump on mine which they don’t know when it will be done.

so thank you for all your help and advise,I was going to contact spencer but I believe you had a word with Andy so thanks for that...this is why I use Greenmech as I can’t think that I would have got this kind of help or service from anyone else.

Sorry 5 Shires, I really couldn't help myself. I did read the beer and chocs for Jase - but purposely omitted 'beer' for a better post.

Beer and chics does sound like a lot of appreciation for 'services rendered'. now that's the way to say thank you

      Hi Wayne,

It's a great machine and a big step forward in my opinion , a few teething problems but these have been dealt with now.  Performance wise it's on another level..

Hi Jase thanks for reply yes have heard very good things the only issue I will have is weight as I don’t want to go much above 750/800 kg...am i correct in thinking the petrol 165p will be much lighter then the diesel which is the norm?

    3. Jase hutch

      Jase hutch

They are currently assembling a lightweight 165p for test , I'll let you know the outcome.

  6. Have sent you a private message, did you get it?

  8. Had 150p for around a month now and very pleased..great machine and good power and fuel consumption for the money.?

  9. Evening john

always good to hear from you and of course always nice to catch up...obviously the big one is the APF and will be there for at least a couple of the days..I have also booked a room at the holford arms for the Arb Show..fed up with putting a tent up for a couple of days and nights..to much hassle..been looking at those tents what fold out over a truck..but to use once a year is not worth the outlay.

anyway have a great spring and see you either may or September?
