  1. i see all you guys have the same blade shape and quite large ... you have a big bang when logs split and sometimes flying logs ? i made my own splitter and used tapered blade and found that big bangs as logs split dont happen also being a smaller blade i found splitting 3+ ft rings still not a problem. sorry no pic as i sold the damn thing but about to build another also i run it from a power pack and find this much quicker and cheaper to run.
