  3. Hello folks Has anyone used yellow heart lumber. I bought a load of beams and never looked closely and have found when I started milling them they are yellow heart. Oh god it was so so hard. but got it milled. Has anyone any ideas of what to use it for. Have 8" square and 8' long and other lenghts. Its fab timber. Liam::
  4. Hello all. I cut about 30 ton of cedar recently and milled it all with my oscar 230. Only prob was a guy came to my yard and bought all of it. Silly me didnt keep any.:001_rolleyes: Brilliant machine and with a deakin flathers blades it was like slicing with a sharp knife. The only thing was the amount of sawdust the blades made. I also got greenheart and yellowheart boys they are hard timber. But like that too the DF blades brill. Has anyone any ideas on what to use the yellowheart for? Its fab timber. Thinking of making a porch with some as pillars.
