Hi. There was talk in one of the other forums that if you are over 30 then it becomes a problem. Is that so? I am starting to hunt for work in Adelaide (moving from UK). So far not a lot of response, just wondering if my 32 years of age are going against me. I don't have a lot of experience in the trade, although I do have the relevant tickets, and I am super keen to learn and progress in the trade. Any advice would be a great help...

Hi Will. That would be awesome, I've spent a couple of years in NZ already (on a working holiday visa) so I know I love it over there, but this time I would need to be sponsored. My partner (soon to be wife!) is super keen too. Do you have a contact email that I could send a cover letter/resume to. I see that the company is nationwide, whereabouts do you work? Are you enjoying the work and environment? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tom. I am in a very similar situation to yourself. Have you had any luck yet? Currently I am just applying direct to companies whether they have vacancies or not. Just need that one golden ticket! Andrew.
