My CS100 has stopped being able to pull the branches thus having to force them into the chute. What do I need to do to sort this? Ross.
  3. Hi all, looking for some imput about the Predator/Laski 360 stump grinder. Cant find any reviews off this machine on here or on google. Anyone know off any pros and cons of the machine? Is the turntable nice to use or do you prefer the regular set up? Ross.
  4. Will more than likely have a look at the waves on south coast at some point and jump in. Some nice shelter at Shoreham harbour with a nice taste of diesel from the ships too. But need to clear up some trees first....
  5. I wouldn't have thought it could of over heated as it was only going for a few seconds at a time. Have taken the wire out from the handle and some of it was frayed. Cut it back, re-wired it but still nothing. How can I check that the rest of the wire is ok?
  6. Was using my Kango 950 breaker and has just stopped working. Was working fine one moment, put it down then picked it up again 5secs later and no power at all. Press the button and nothing happens. Checked the fuse in transformer plug and is fine. I don't have the manual so I don't know what to look for and can find nothing on google. Any suggestions? Its the old blue/silver 110v one. Ross.
  7. But what about the branches that aren't any good for logs or kindling? Does that get left there?
  8. Never had skin problems but my hands always turn black after working with Eucalyptus. No matter what you put on your hands to remove it, it just stays there and disappears after 3days or so. So always try to remember to wear gloves. Ross.
  9. Id take a risky bite at £3.40....
  10. SWB Transit with the rear part of it separated so chip into back of van. Chipper on a home made jetski trailer which I leave on the trailer whilst chipping.
  11. Has the van been bump started at all? Because if it has been will be the fuel injector system that needs replacing. Knocks out the timing and will sound terrible and no power at low revs but over 3-4ish revs quietens back down again. I learned this the expensive way
  12. Had my car moved by another tree firm couple years back. Just went bumper to bumper and pushed it back a few bays. Fortunately its a piece of crap with dents and scratches all over it so clearly didn't think I would mind. I just laughed and thought well done.
  13. That Hawaii rope swing is truly epic. Need to get myself one of those rigged up.
  14. Looks to me like the people in Suffolk are a bit cookoo in the head..... Looks like a rotten root ball to me with no resemblance to a dog unless you go cross eyed with mad!
  15. I find them really comfy. Find that having the wide Velcro pads up top help to distribute the contact unlike the thin 30mm (ish) wide normal straps.
  16. Do you need a iphone 5 or do you want a iphone 5? Ive stayed with my iphone 4 and went sim only for £10p/m as opposed to £40p/m to have a new iphone 5 which does nothing different to an iphone 4......
  17. Why thank you Shane and the rest of you for the praise. I did my good deed for the day. Mr Toad was grateful too I hope. I did wonder if any of his family went through or not before I noticed him though....... Ross.
  18. Finished off this clearance/fencing job last week. House had been rented for last couple of years before new residents bought it. So had been left to its own accord.
  19. I've just decided to go sim only contract. Got a iPhone 4, theres no better tech in the new iPhone 5, nor any other smart phone that I feel the need to pay £30+p/m. New contract costs me £10p/m. Also don't get why people hate Apple for being on top of their game....
  20. Nice one. They never seemed to come up on google when I typed in trailer axle.
  21. Trying to source myself a trailer axle beam for this small trailer that im making myself but I cant seem to find what I need. Found this one site that sells them but they have stopped trading (after taking my money). All I can find are these other types where the suspension unit is integrated into the axle itself. This is the one im after: Does anyone have any idea where I can get one of these? Needs to be 1200mm long and have a min weight of 300kgs. Ross
  22. Mog: There were 387 photos taken. Which according to my maths, totals to 6hrs 45mins. This includes tea breaks and lunch! Bearing in mind most had to be lowered due to a lot of it hanging over neighbours sheds/gardens, and was super slippery due to it being very wet recently. Shane: Do you have any openings......?
  23. Short video of a Norway Spruce I took down a few weeks ago. Customer set up his camera and think he set it to take a photo every 60 seconds. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ddPKWxh850]Dismantling Norway Spruce Tree - YouTube[/ame] Ross.
  24. That would be fun to stump grind
  25. Yeah with the sum of all that it would be worth doing the trailer test. I just cant belive how much money some of these people charge! I also belive DVLA should have brought in a test for everybody, not just new drivers passing their test after 1996 or what ever it is. As there are so many drivers who tow trailers/caravans who in my eyes are not intirely aware of their surroundings when towing.
