Have you considered Charnwood stoves? Multi Fuel Stoves, Multifuel Stove, Crewe, Wilmslow, Cheshire, Macclesfield, Poynton, Nantwich, UK Beautiful things and I'm finding it really efficient. But yeah, 1m logs I'm not so sure about. That's long. Hope you get sorted.
