At what price are the big players doing it for , what over heads have you got that they don't have , open your eye and get out there and work.No one on here has made you feel good about yourself because you won't let them.
I cut tree's , grass , paint walls and if asked wash windows after cutting a tree for one old person I was asked to come back every 3 week and cut grass and clean the garden all year round and the list go's on and on. I hope you find something mate , good night.

Here here , do the small jobs , buy the tools , do the big jobs pay for the training , I've paid for all my own training CS30 up to CS39 wood chipper , cherry picker , forklift saff pass all done and this year I WILL get a full time job its my gold and I will do it watch this space.
i set up my business 6 years ago after returning from working in australia for nearly 2 years, it was a struggle to start with as people didnt know who i was and what i did. Work had no continuity and it was a guessing game what would happen but whenever i completed a job i used the money to pay for a course or some equipment and eventually i got more regular work from various sources and got known as a hard worker which then led to more work.I wasnt too proud to do other work whilst trying to acheive building my business, i have spent countless hours day and night tractor driving or fencing when ultimately i wanted to be working in the woods but if it pays the bills and makes a profit then im happy to do it.

I know this is a bit off the main rail but I feel the same way about the work place as well, no room for drink or drugs , not all will agree with me on that and that's fine.

Ewan , thanks mate. SRT looks like a lot of work.
Time in the trees will be needed for that one.
