  1. The prices back home are horrific to say the least, I don't know how lads living off the saw make a penny with the price of replacements, service parts etc. I'm from a little place out wesht called Clonbur. Between the Corrib and the Mask.

Small world this , I worked in Petersburg outdoor education centre for 2 years going back many years , one great place to live (Joyce country:thumbup1:). Is the chipper still there , I went cow tipping for the first time just behind the payphone box.

  2. Get your saw in the UK , I'm in Dublin and the cost of saws and chains are just mad , I'm heading over in May of the weekend to Bradford and hopping to pick up a new pair of boots and other bits.

One shop here was looking for over €900.00 for 201T , not getting from me.

What part of Galway are U from ??

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
