1. Cheers, no cure for phytophera is there, I'm in Perthshire, map of infections has positives this year both sides within 10 miles. Cherry next to it has areas affected like photos show, different looping branches and leaf drop, could that be linked or is it all 3 different issues Cheers
2. Hi all, just wondering on some opinions. I've got a large larch in the garden which has got areas of browning foliage and bare branches next to adjoining cherry, only noticed this year and it attempted to put on growth in these areas but not doing so well Underneath tree is juniper( I think) which has patchy areas of dieback. We had very dry spell April/may but don't know if that's involved Apologies for photos, area affected is high up, twig is a single twig from lower branches Thanks Roddy

4. Surely got to be sheep at the moment, but nopt a good time to be buying into anything livestock wise with the prices of stock. would agree that high income, low ground usage type enterprises would be the way to go, chickens, pigs, windfarms, etc but all depend on your farm location etc. good luck anyhows.
