  1. Yes it IS Katie Hopkins. Yes it IS the Daily Mail. Get over it. This very nearly, completely, encapsulates the way I'm feeling. Katie Hopkins on Ariana Grande gig attack in Manchester | Daily Mail Online
  2. It was out of order. I'd make an exception for him, and all the maggots that think it's ok to go and fight for islam then return to the relative safety and liberty of their western sanctuary, and for all those that are not proactively opposing such attitudes & behaviour - whilst my preferred outcome would simply be Mr 9mm, perhaps we should offer them the opportunity to be tried and sentenced, in accordance with the barbaric laws they wish to see implemented, by the peaceful majority of UK muslims - Physician, heal thyself! Is it such an extreme position? Not the sort of thing you might expect to see in the public sector surely.... Or maybe it's not so extreme?? UK court dismisses call to ban council boycotts of Israeli settlement goods | Middle East Eye Agreed, and democracy does not want or need Islam. Listen to the politicians espouse the need for cohesion, calm, inclusiveness, whilst not having any constructive idea of how to manage the returning jihadis and home grown sympathisers... Internment is clouded by the errors of recent history but why spend scarce money trying to track and monitor these maggots when it should be put to better use elsewhere? Current laws and freedoms are being exploited and used against us, perhaps they should all be rounded up and placed on Gruinard Island to do what they like. A relatively cheap and simple monitoring system to ensure they remain and leave 'em to rot. Luckily though, it's just an isolated few and it's nothing to do with islam eh:
  3. With Mole Valley, they are like a silent partner. I filled in a form with membership No. which was sent to me by Toyota dealer. I sent it back to dealer, they check eligibility with MV. That's it, the rest of the business is between dealer and purchaser. MV have no other interest, input or control.
  4. If you have the forward facing camera (lane departure / road sign recognition etc) check to make sure you have the recently released Toyota tech upgrade. Previously there was a sponge shroud which was trapping moisture and misting up the camera lense. I struggled with this for ages and despite constant chase-ups to dealership didn't get much joy. Then the upgrade was installed which removed the sponge and installed a heated element + software upgrade. Mole Valley Farmers also have a Toyota arrangement for discount (subject to 6 months prior membership / account holder (its £10/yr for basic account - if you spend a couple of hundred quid/yr you get that back in discount anyway)) Worth spending a tenner to save 1000's later even if you're only "thinking" about a new truck. I think it's because the clubs/associations etc are on fleet terms.
  5. The child grooming issue is prevalent amongst a clearly defined demographic. To avoid dealing with that issue, or any other criminal or morally repugnant behaviour, identified within a defined demographic, just because it is THAT demographic (what ever it might be) is a reality of what has been happening. Delusional and misguided adherence to overtly PC doctrine has enabled this to occur. Playing a "race card" whenever an uncomfortable truth is exposed is a disease that needs to be beaten.
  6. Fair point Felix, there has been the occasional duck house or extravagant lunch I'll agree - and whilst by no means acceptable or tolerable, it's not on the same scale, even in the same universe, as the habitual, systemic, entrenched culture of tribal nepotism, bribery, corruption and self interest that is prevalent across the African continent.
  7. There's no mention of race in what I recently said. Rather than attempting to discredit my comment by playing a misguided race card, you have exposed the inadequacy of your position. The key to my recent posts was to highlight the passive acceptance of criminal activity by PC obsessed state offices. You think that's racist - you're a part of the problem.
  8. What, like the child grooming and sexual exploitation scenario you mean? Because that worked well didn't it. The sooner (1) those that find such behaviour abhorrent stand up and say so and (2) the offices of law and justice overcome the disgraceful tolerance of such behaviours by certain social groups in the misguided name of community cohesion, and more generally, (3) the UK population of decent, law abiding citizens refuse to allow such behaviours by defined groups, and tolerance by state mechanisms, the better things will be. Or perhaps you a child grooming and sexual abuse denier too?
  9. At the risk of preempting SP's reply... Corbyn and his cohorts are 'king idiots that want MORE immigration...
  10. Can't imagine what the 5 councillors banned from standing had in common? Maybe the clue is in the names of the 3 that were found to have been running the postal vote rigging factory... Not to worry, observers from Uganda and Guyana, those paragons of the moral fortitude will no doubt hound out any shenanigans. For the love of God, what's happened to this green and pleasant land? Go on, tell me again about the value of immigration and cultural enrichment....
  11. And Labour's next unfunded promise to the naive and gullible is free ice cream 🍧for all on a sunny day! Go JC!! PS it's Diane's round, apparently, she's done the figures and so long as the Tories don't try a sneak a flake in, it'll be all be fine, no worries, don't worry about the detail 👍🏻
  12. Is it a can I / can't I cut the neighbour's trees which are crossing the boundary scenario? If yes, is it a desire to trim back an encroachment or an abating nuisance scenario?
  13. Mynors 21.9.2 p554/5 Since this is "discussion / research" I hope this isn't a copyright issue:
  14. Had to look it up, never heard of Belper before:- The town's name is thought to be a corruption of Beaurepaire – meaning beautiful retreat. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belper
  15. 🏈 hospital pass! You didn't say it was outline! "...for works needed to implement a full planning consent..." 🤔😊🙂
  16. If the trees subject to TPO are included in the AIA/AMS, AND the planning consent is granted (and not conditioned otherwise), then works necessary to implement the plan are sanctioned by the planning decision (assuming it's an approval) That would be my starting point. watching to see if there's a sneaky sub-clause that someone knows about now.... 👀
  17. Now that's what I call a public service announcement! Dear BBC, why, oh why, oh why....
  18. Public sector goes to shite not for lack of funding, but rather for lack of ownership, responsibility, accountability and general P poor management. If everyone in the public sector treated the money / time / resources they expend as if it was their own, or their own business, we'd all be flush with tax rebates and a first class infrastructure. Pouring more money in is a shallow and ineffective attempt to treat a symptom whilst refusing to acknowledge the cause. I'm guessing you will recognise, acknowledge and possibly even share some of that frustration given yr previous experience Mr E. It's not a political observation, even though the 2 main parties seem to have polarised views on the solution with the left wanting to pour money on the problems and the right wanting to pull up on the reins. I don't believe either option, in isolation, is an adequate solution. The level of taxation in this country really (really) grates my gears. The rules / allowances for tax are unbelievably complex. If there is a concession available it has been "designed in" at some stage so as to encourage growth, recompense a deficiency or recognise a particular factor. Making use of those concessions, where they exist isn't wrong, it's what they are for. You're not going to tell me you write to HMRC and ask them to lower your tax code are you? Regards to Mrs E and hoping all well for a speedy convalescence.
  19. It all falls into a sort of "scale" of things when looking some of the job ads on here, there's only a couple of quid/hr difference between ground, climb, lead climb and TO positions - and sometimes, I guess geographically adjusted, the order of hierarchy isn't as might be expected. It's a crazy old world. If I may, substitute "tax avoidance" for "tax efficiency." The rules is the rules, if what you do is within the rules, and the spirit of the rules, then it's wholly appropriate to take advantage of opportunities that have been purposefully presented. Only a fool, or a poorly informed person wouldn't.
  20. Deeply bewildered and confused 🤔 First rule of domestic bliss.... Never, ever admit liability! It encourages dissent and civil unrest. Even IF he was in some way culpable for the outcome, the full responsibility clearly lies with the girlfriend for placing him in a situation where it was necessary for him to interface with the washing appliance - as clear and unambiguous a dereliction of domestic duty as could ever be imagined.
  21. What about the girlfriend? Is she: (A) a "keeper" - appears to have good basic domestic awareness (although needs a little fine tuning when interfacing with technology), demonstrates initiative and can be relied upon to "give it a go" but requires some supervision and direction. (B) retained on trial terms - given a written warning and extended trial. Increased tasking or reduced allowance to compensate inconvenience and recompense financial loss. Remedial training. © soundly thrashed and dismissed without further ado.
  22. Totally agree! CIS came about because that business sector was completely & consistently taking the P out of the system - so they got walloped. No sympathy. It'll spread to other sectors if HMRC see a similar trend. Astonishing to see some obvious P takers who obviously don't "get it" or choose not to - example, recent "best in the West" AAAC outfit advertising in employment forum for "full time Self employed staff." Full time & self employed are mutually exclusive - it's really not that difficult to grasp, unless your purposeful intention is to exploit staff, avoid tax and dodge employment law.
