  1. Hello, I'm moving to Australia in February 2014 and I'm looking for work around the Melbourne area. I'm an arboist currently with 18 months climbing experience. My qualifications are as follows; CS30 - Prepare and Maintain the chainsaw CS31 - Fell and Process trees CS38 - Climb Trees and Perform aerial rescue CS39 - Use a chainsaw from a rope and harness The company I am working for at the moment offer a broad range of services including grounds maintenance and landscaping in which I also undertake as part of my current role. My girlfriend will be studying at university in Melbourne and I will be a de facto on her visa which will last for 14 months. We hope to make our move to Australia permanent so would be looking for work with a company that has the potential for long term employment if possible.. Would my current qualifications and experience be sufficient to find work? what about sponsorship on a 457 visa Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tom
