  1. Got a pic of the gears you need?
  2. Well it's the sort of thing I'm against, thats a big bar for joe public to get hold of, think most of my 52cc have 18 inch bars, still big for someone who could get it without any triaining or qualifications.
  3. Would have to advise that you be carefully with this as it is obviously against the law to own such a rifle without the licence, and as it is not deact that makes it even worse. Just a reminder that you never know who is reading on forums.....
  4. That's a very clever person, it's not sthil and says no such thing at being sthil only he has sthil oil to go with it. By putting stihl in the discription he will get interest from stihl buyers, it's a well known brand amoung everyone, more so that husky, so the average joe will type in stihl to get a saw to cut there logs and see this one. Can't report as there is nothing wrong with the add. Sadly it's another one that we know it's an imitation saw and we know it will prob go wrong in a bad way when it is used, but again it's something we can nothing about. Unless the saw has been proven to be a piece of junk and dangerous and they no longer make them anymore.
  5. Was getting a bit worried there, had a low score but just managed to get by.
  6. True, why I never go for any other payment than cash on collection or PayPal, cheques are ok for big stuff but never send it or let it go before it has cleared. As with all Internet buying and eBay you take a gamble. The joys of using the Internet....
  7. Don't know, no other items for sale brings red flags. But the payment is PayPal, I do trust PayPal, and as it is a new seller they will hold the payment until feedback is given to seller. It's a new protection thing they have got, I had to go through it and it really is a pain in the behind, takes ages to get the money, took me a month to get mine as buyers didn't leave feedback.
  8. Everything is called a widow maker in this industry, thought that everyone knew that. Lol. Benin hit by a few cut and chucks, my fault walked into drop zone, or kill zone on that day.
  9. was green but sprayed before i got it, only picked it up at weekend, 500 notes as it was a non runner, put new batt on and away she went, sat in a garage for at least six years as the last tx disc was 2005. bit jumpy on pulling away and i have to play the throttle to get it to rev up a bit but nothing a bit of tunning shouldnt sort out, rolled her out of garage and all the lights still work.
  10. took all my computer knowledge but here is a pic, did make an album in my cp.

  16. 4stroke, nah think of the weight again, valves, cams lifters, heads, sump, carb systems, and if they mix oil/fuel it's just a 2stroke.
  17. Shouting is better than orange, but then there is always carrier pigeon.
  18. Yeah I keep hearing about snow, can't see nothing in the forecast, I the wind going to change and come from the north east?
  19. I used to use one, gave it up a long time ago, they have been made redundant by the use of private radios tabs and the like. Think that should say only 3 registerd users in the uk, loads of others. Found that there are too many interferences to operate them properly, found a short range and you have to get high up to get any distance. Plus they can be listend into by other people and instructions to workers get confused. Dont bother as there is no one out there to listen to you anyway, if it's for work get some personal radios, much better.
  20. What about a simple dozen? Extra big pleated in the tracks allow for better traction in clay, got the power to pull anything you want it to, adapt the dozer front for picking up timber?
  21. Have made a tool for bagging, used a big road sign, like a road closed, and folded it into a channel shape, same size as the bag so it slides into empty bag then you fill then slide the Shute out, perfect every time.
  22. 1968, really is a good runner, and no rust. Attracted to her coz she is tax exempt, and she would run in woodland dragging timber all day, so if dent or break panels, bodywork etc it won't be with a nice shiny defender. Parts are ok to find, there is quite a few places to get them from and I like landys as its simple engineering. Pics will follow tomoz as its raining and I have man flu. So don't want to go out and take pics today. Plus my roast is nearly done. Yum
  23. Going to have to say go for the hydraulic breaker and genny, the 110 are good but when you hit the thick stuff they don't make a dent and you will forever be sharpening/replacing the bits. Use a JCB one, goes ok and only leaks oil now and then from the connections, all round a good tool, petrol genny is better, diesel is too much to work with on a pull cord starter. Have you looked into hiring on for jobs, is it cheaper than buying one? How many times are you going to use it?
  24. You wouldn't get the sword bck nowadays, unless you can say your a collector...
  25. Picked up my first Landy, already got a pto on it but nothing to attach to it, was thinking hydraulic motor, then it leaves me open to options, winch, splitter etc. it's got a canvas on at the mo, was thinking hard top, still want to use for other things, fitting a winch and ball hitch on the front. Any ideas what I can fit onto her to make her a good logging truck? Oh and a diesel engine to replace the petrol one.
