  1. Does anyone carry red smoke grenade with them when logging in woods! Got at least one in each wagon incase a heli needs to be called? Hasn't happened yet and hope it never will.
  2. Always make sure there is another person with you when felling etc. if I do any logging I make sure my phone is my pocket and someone knows you are doing it and we're you are. First aid kit is always on my belt as well.
  3. I can think of a few other words that would be uttered.
  4. On another note I was talking to an old guy the other day and conversation got to concreting in posts. He had never heard or post Crete and refused to believe me it existed! Maybe it was just me and the way he is used to doing it! Best invention ever IMO.
  5. Do I, don't I, Thinking about selling my shotguns and my cabinet! Question, do I don't I, they haven't been used since before xmas. And to bo honest the cabinet is taking up room. Sold my .22 ages ago. Just can't be botherd to actually go shooting anymore. So do I, don't I.
  6. Yeah chopped in the 2a as it wasn't good for family use. So getting this tomorrow, been in them loads but never driven one, I'm sure it will be purel luxury compared to the 1965 2a with a top speed of 50. And a ride that leaves you vibrating an hour after driving.
  7. My thoughts exactly. I'm getting very worried. :blushing:
  8. Just got my first discovery. 1990 silver 200tdi. Anything I should look out for. Gearbox is good and had a recon head! Should I be worried about the head. I know about wheel arches and boot rot. But these are good. Anything else I need to look for in it? What tests do I need to do to ensure everything is good? Will be doing a comp test when I get her.
  9. Sound like an insulated cable but from other threads on cables this can mean nothing.
  10. Do that and people will ask you if you want to drive trucks in afghan.
  11. Isn't self employed a bit like sole trader, yet a business is more company?
  12. Power lines. If they were phone it would not say high voltage on the pole.
  13. Andy, they will keep sending you money and come April next year you will get a letter saying you have been overpaid and you must pay the money back, seen it before. Suppose they want the factory's back with kids darting around picking up the cotton off the floor around the weavers to reuse it.....
  14. Housing association so probably on benefits so can't afford to feed them proper food. Lol
  15. To me it would look as if the tenant is trying to get the gardening done for nothing, I bet you will turn up and they will be there asking what plants are going in or how long before the grass grows or when will the turf be laid!
  16. Never had a real problem with my teethe. Had four out at the age of 5 blocked me out for it. Gas is funny as its mixed with nitrous, remember laughing myself to sleep and waking up crying. My dentist is good now, she is fit and I don't mind going every 6 months for her, although she has made me up a guard that I have to wear at night as I grind my teeth in my sleep. Bloody annoying thing it is.
  17. Just the way I was reading some of the comments so thought I had better put one in there (yes witch ever way I say it it will sound crude).
  18. Recommendations mean everything to knowing you can trust a dealer, if it be cars, trucks, or garden equipment. I've looked back at posts I've said and I may have been jumping the gun on some things but not all. This site is excellent and I hope it stays as it is. Steve if I have said anything that has offended or been out of line then I Apologise to both you or anyone else. Dealers like everyone else have a business to uphold and run so they require people to bring in saws or kit that needs fixing. This is an apology to anyone I have annoyed with posts. Richard. Ps I'm doing better today as a non smoker so my mood is a good one. Nothing to do with getting it last night and some frustrations have gone away.
  19. Yeah replaced the fuel lines tank breather line and the impulse line is good so no touch. Turning the screws tomoz. Just didn't know the factory settings. It's an old saw with no chain break so the chain is off as I don't fancy cutting my arm off. Compression is smack on 100 psi, worth a go just to see if it works ok.

Try increasing it a bit next time, not much more than tickover. Could be a build up if fuel condensation or exhaust gasses that need clearing when driving.
  21. Just saying what I've read! Damn these cravings now I've forgotten what I was going to write. Does it come under the flaming part in the rules? Ive seen it before on a forum to do with guns and they removed to general chat part, it was like a mass exodus from the site. All because a dealer was given a bad review by a poster saying they were arrogant and all they wanted to do was sell them new guns instead of fixing the old one. Sounds pretty familiar. They had some sponsor in the site so they removed it. Bad experiences with dealers are a common thing, I have yet to find one I would recommend to people as other people have said they have as well. If dealers know ther eis an obviouse problem then surely constructive criticism should be seen, bad customer service leads to no customers. Waiting to get shot down pretty quick with this but I like to get a point straight and true.

  23. That's why I got an iPad. My computer stopped working!
