  1. Don't post the reg. if anyone spots it you can pm the reg or even vin number from log book, the police would not want you to post such things on the web or even ins company
  2. My time for this was 24 dec 2007, almost lost my boy at the age of just under a month he was born on 27 nov. he was in London for two weeks on full ventilator and drips. This was my turning point, my partner and me ran shifts, I done the night shift and worked day time, she done the day shift. I can see exactly were you are coming from and I've gone the same way, if people are not worth it then sod it. If the quote is excepted then anything else is quoted again and invoice supplied for work done. But I'm the same way as I try and get cheaper from parts suppliers etc. who doesn't.
  3. Was waiting for that one. So it could pretty much be 90% of the posts made.
  4. What does the spam stuff look like?
  5. Semi auto with 6shot mag is firearms anyway so he safe on that one.

    200t Fuel leak

Air filter box off, air filter off, carb out by two nuts, throttle linkage is on the carb and so is choke, this comes off when removing carb. Handle is one screw just above air filter box on handle at the back and there is some at the front by chain break. Once these are off behind carb there is a big hose on the inlet to cylinder this pulls of but there is a spring typ seal on it so look out for this when removing. The casing around the saw itself is held in with screws, work you way around underneath and above should be able to pull the casing off backwards away from the bar end. This should expose enough to see the tank etc. Taking some pics with camera or phone will aid in the rebuild.
  7. Been don the beach, son got cold so went to chippy for lunch. Mushy peas and codwood. Now I'm going to have a nap, as loose women is rubbish, might see if Jeremy Kyle is on iplayer.
  8. Coz I don't want to. I got nothing on so spending the day split between on er and with my son. Going out later to the beach.

  10. High tech isn't the word, ther a short vid of chain cutting on YouTube, 1400 fps, and it is no were near slow enough. I thought about it and you would be shaving the log to do it, this would require a well held log and a supported saw, don't think holding by hand would be good enough. If anyone got the kit to record there is no reason why it can't be done.
  11. I have a Facebook account but it's mainly family, the rest on mine are close friends from past that live too far away to see all the time or live in another country. I have no time for crap on Facebook. It's down to the user on social network who they have on there and who they don't, the kids have Facebook and the amount of times they have said " I don't know this person but I'm friends with them to find out who they are" this worries me and they get rid of them. This site is expertly controlled and anything seen as unsuitable is soon got shot of. Been said before but to Steve and Andy and other mods or even sponsers, I applaud your work and well done.
  12. I can second that one. That site is no help whatsoever. I prefer arbtalk as the replies are sometimes comical to me. Puts a smile on my face some days. Sent form my new iPad so there P.S how you getting on predator, if you not mind me asking?
  13. Why tweak it, if it ain't broke don't fix it.....
  14. Really. Always get asked if change supplier. Also had two visits to check the storage is up to regs when we got new store.
  15. Yeah I've got a few months to make my mind up about it yet. I like the idea of just having a shotgun ( waiting for the comebacks) But I've got a rule that if I don't use something for more than 3 months it get binned or sold.
  16. Yeah he's right I missed that one pa1 only covers the storage and record keeping handling of chemicals. One of the pa6 is what you need. Go for pa1 to be able to buy and store chemicals even if it's just one type. Then you need pa6, knapsack application. This should cover you for almost anything that you will be doing. They will not sell you chemicals unless you have pa1.
  17. Mines up soon but don't think I will be renewing it. Don't seem to find the time anymore.
  18. I never got the ammo thing with shotguns and firearms, you can mail order as many shells as you want but limited on firearms? I could fill my house with shells and it's legal, but with firearms ammo it's all restricted? Doesn't make much sense IMO. Don't worry about the visit, ask if you want to about distances! They will not judge you by it as you are being responsible by asking information like this to make sure you are safe. Don't loose any sleep over it.
  19. Yep, they also look into footpaths etc. discretion is best with shotguns, if you don't feel right don't pull the trigger.
  20. I done all my pa through east Kent training EKT 2010 This is the last contact I got for them. Might have changed, can't give prices as I didn't pay for them and it's was some time ago.
  21. Ask. I don't shoot towards roads at all, shoot from the roadside in field other side of hedge etc, if you can see the road don't shoot. Seen people shooting up to 300 yards away from road and the shot lands on road. Always shoot away from roads or buildings. It's all common sense into play.
  22. There is nothing like that. Obviously if you have swastikers hanging on your walls and I love hitler t shirt there is a high chance you will not get it. The main things to worry about are thing like depression treated by doctor in the past, or any grief like a divorce or past pains with an ex that ended badly, things like this. Don't worry about anything, if they think you shouldn't be allowed a gun you won't get one, just be a nice guy and responsible person. Shotguns are not as tight as firearms IMO. I think you will have nothing to worry about, don't loose sleep over it. You never know he may well have you certificate with him already for you to sign.
  23. Why? If he is going self employed aswell there is nothing wrong with this so long as it is declared with a p60 every year and declared. I do both self employed and working for a building company. No problems with this. If he workd full time and cash jobs at weekend then it could come into effect as moonlighting.
  24. Had both firearms and shotgun. They are a profiler in a way, they are there to get an insight into who is wanting a gun. Tea or coffee always goes down well, they will look at cabinet to make sure it's fixed ok and suitable for the guns. It's a good chat and to find out what you know about gun safety etc. ou should find they are resonable and nice people, don't worry about being nervous either they are used to that. Definatly ask any questions you have no matter how stupid they may sound to you. Have you sent the application off yet? I got told not to until after the visit so he could read it through and correct any mistakes or questions I had, saved the form going back and forth.
