Yes Dan I had an alert and thought I better have a look
-
They are lovely saws and pull long bars like a freight train
there isn’t a lot wrong with this saw only a bit of
carb work probably
I know one person who’s bidding on anything interesting
in the big Dolmar saws he also collects Ford escorts
so he probably won’t stop much below 2K
the other option is a Dolmar CT or a 153 both lovely saws
but nice too hear from anyone who likes collecting
Sachs Dolmar and Dolmar

Andy if you need any help let me know but what Dan says stick with the 050 1.3mm narrow kerf a better cut for that saw
but the dcs4300 is just an older version of the ea4300

if you need a 3/8 spur sprocket for your saw I have some packed away somewhere and I’ve got .325 spur sprockets
as @Stere says if you can find a 3/8 lo pro rim sprocket
you can use a clutch drum from Ea-5000 or ea-6100
or if no joy try your stiga dealer and get a 3/8 lo pro spur
sprocket for a stiga sp-386

Thank you Andrew. Another dumb question if you have the time,
was the 4300 /421 built on that same chassis as the 460 / 500, I even had two of them
but sold them, it looked like they were, they held a good drop of fuel and oil
for sure.
there not the same chassis but they do share some parts with the 5105 and 6100

Very similar on two models there’s definitely some
Use or copied out of older Dolmar makita models
If I put any money on it I would go the following way
the stiga CP-466 is based on the Dolmar PS-460
the stiga CP-526 is based on the Dolmar PS-500
these models where the red top semi pro versions
from 12+ yrs ago
in the next couple of weeks I will take a closer look
at these models
