  1. Would the CNC mill use Heidenhain ( spelling ) on the controller , say a Bridgeport 4 ?
  2. I would like to know why it need a new pot and piston first , and if it really does . Did it nip up ? wrong mix or air leek making it run lean ? Have you actually seen the damage ?
  3. Chris . Do you have access to a spark erroder ?

Still think my idea of little stickers with " Spudport " written on them for after your treatment would be cool ......

Spudulation ! what Superb word . Very descriptive !
  6. There are 2 on ebay right now from 2 different sellers . Rock machinery " Lightening strike and one by Whitemoss . ( In the U.K. .)
  7. Yep . about that clearance / Should say on the bar what the gauge is . Most common are 1.6 , 1.5 , and 1.3 . You put a 1.3 gauge chain in a 1.6 wide bar groove and it will flop to one side or another dependant on cutter ware or sharpening inaccuracy . Oh and don't worry if you have one or two shorter cutter . It won't matter . Just give them the minimal strokes of the file . sharpen all the others ignoring the short ones its a wast of chain if you bring all the others back to the short one and takes time . After a few sharpenings they will eventually match up ....
  8. Sounds like the bar rails are splayed or, most likely the wrong gauge chain for that bar .
  9. Quins beat the Tigers at Welford Road 23--16

Wow there woody been waiting for ages for a slot to come up for my 395 !!!!
  11. Hi Jon . Raining now Sunday night . Think it will clear away for work in the morning . Did you enjoy us beating the Aussies on Sat ??
  12. Well . As you say there is shed loads on both . You read em up and choose . We have 201 and t540 . I prefer t540 but they both work .
  13. Never tried it to be fair but always thought it was crap fire wood ?
  14. I had a 357 and replaced it with a 560 in 2011 . Can't say I noticed any significant difference in consumption . The 560 revs higher so maybe uses more fuel than 357 but not that noticeable ......
  15. Mine is , so far , totally reliable . It is a 2011 saw and I have had since then .

Seconded . Steve is real top geezer !
  17. Godda disagree pretty much totally here . Use mineral oil for the first tank full to let the rings bed in . then go to synth . 50:1 Rag it from the off . Dont let it sit idling for a tank full they need to be worked hard strait away . If you let sit ticking over the A/T wont set properly . just me ...... Oh agree about ethanol . The less you have of that the better .
  18. Oh yea sorry of course ! Doh . Ticks over when dangling and has bags of punch though . When you first start it keep reeving the nuts off it then hold it wide open until the revs finally peek . takes a few seconds but you can hear it creep up . Think its the A/T setting . Then its good to go .
  19. Need to know what make it is , particularly if you just need a replaceable tip that screws into the main body of the cone . . If you want the whole cone not so critical but need dimensions of shaft etc .
  20. Understood about the extra weight on the first generation saws . That is why I went back to a 372 after trying one for a while . I think the early A/T cant down load so much info about what he saw has done .
  21. Get non of those things with mine . Just took the spark screen out is all Iv done with it . Definitely more powerful than our 201 .
  22. Yea but its not legal requirement . Your dealer asked you but its not law .
