More and more people realizing the potential in their saws through the skill of Steve ! I believe I was one of the first with a 346 he did for me possibly about 2 years ago . It is still going strong on a 15" bar and an 8 pin . The reliability is sound . Currently withe the 346 I have a 372 and a 390 all fettled by Steve and all stonking ! Talented man !

This thread should be re titled the engineering / tool room thread ! Rotary table takes me back ! Last time I did anything like that it was ( Label 1 Circle centers X 0.00 Y 0.00 circular polar radius what ever, z minus abit M03 incremental , circular polar 360 degrees ) call label 1 REP 2 . M25 Stop .....

Just bought a pair of the above ( in pantomime red ! ) Very light weight strides . Got 2 pairs of well used Gladiator Ventilation which I thought were good but thees are a bit lighter . Slightly higher back flap than the Vents . Any one tried them yet ?

Modern synthetic oils like Husqvarna XP are supposed to be 50:1 . I would not trust any " garden center " stuff . Bin it and get some proper oil from a saw dealer .....

You are dead right . Forget about lubing for a moment . Imagine its a 4 stroke engine . You would put neat petrol in it . You would not " contaminate " the petrol with some oil ? So if the oil can says mix at 50:1 then thats the way to go . No point in putting more than that in .

Yea its negligible I admit but if your not using the screen you don't need the screw . When your coming to the end , and start to see the bright light at the end of the tunnel ,you don't want an extra 5g !
