I think JB was very diplomatic in the situation . Think he heard he was sacked from another quarter before he was told officially . He was crew chief for Mick I seem to remember .
  2. Thats about right for elm . The heart wood usually has a helical grain and the outer wood is more strait grained . I used to struggle like you but I have 2 mechanical splitters . Its the only way to go ! Its cracking fire wood by the way , especially if its dead standing ......

    Rossi sacks Jerry Burgess !
  4. My 560 is a 2011 one . petemate has modded the muffler and had a new carb was fitted as an update (under warranty) within a week of buying it and since then has been faultless .
  5. A lot of chickens involved in that !
  6. I think it will be .325 pitch as standard . Someone may have changed the sprocket on the power head to 3/8 ( .375 ) . Check what it is running now and just replace with the same . As to full or semi chisel that is a personal thing . I prefer full . The width of the drive links will be dictated by the bar groove width you choose . I would say no more than an 18" bar on a 350 probably better with a 15" .
  7. He wont help you ! Hes never liked me any way
  8. 13 year old they said , not year 13 or did I read it wrong ? Yea I read it wrong year 13 sixth form .

  11. No . Its ok to ware a uniform of the cadets one day a year when you have been given permission ....
  12. Once you get them fat trousers on you never really take em off till they nail the lid on !
  13. If you still have your 346 an alternative would be to send it to spud for a porting job . ( cheaper than a new 550 ) . I did ages ago and it is a loony . Pulls a 15" bar with an 8 pin sprocket . Think its faster than a 550 or as good .
  14. There is just the two of us ( occasional third man ) What ever goes wrong is my fault and I accept that and just crack on ....

No question over Lorenzo riding ability . Superb . He did close a 26 point gap to 4 points helped by a Marquez disqualification for not ptting on lap 9 or 10 previously ....
  18. The 2 stroke bottle I have has graduations on the side that equate to 50:1 ratio for 5 liters . . Just pour into fuel can one graduation then pump the petrol in . Do as many 5 liter cans as you want no need to wash any thing out .
  19. Coming from the old wound that has not fully " dough nutted " over ? A bleeding canker may be ?
  20. Usually its left as habitat . Beetles grubs bats and the whole ecosystem that it creates .....

Yes I do . When he is not on duty he is a keen equestrian competitor and a skilled horse man . This has no bearing on the original post . Just answering the question .
  23. Yea ! I remember making those . We used to get a bit of stiff card board and a cloths peg and clip it to your bike fork to make an engine noise when you peddled . Simple things for simple folk
