  1. Be sure the chain brake is off when trying to take it off !
  2. I suppose the Husky equivalent would be 390 or 395 . 390 will run up to a 28" bar . 395 will run up to a 36" bar .
  3. Don't know what saw you have but you can get them for most Husqvarnas ....
  4. Looks Sweet Ch/nut just a bit pale .
  5. Should post on the " over loaded " thread !
  6. I find it a god send when unloading logs . Save a hell of a lot of arse ache ! The plastic brackets have rubbed off some of the paint but its been on there 2 years I should think . Watch were you put the winding handle down !
  7. Some times if you twist the bar whilst in the cut you will force the drive links against the side of the bar rails causing it to spark .
  8. You will need at least 25hp dedicated to the screw splitter . Anything less and it will stall on the gnarly knotty stuff . Provide it with enough torque and it will be faster than a normal hydraulic splitter . Don't give it enough torque and you will loose time cutting stuck lumps off . Also this damages the bearings as it tends to force the cone upwards when a piece gets stuck . You need BIG torque and relatively slow revs .

  17. Saw a couple of large beech like that blown down to day in the arboretum behind West Dean college whilst on the shoot to day . Always seems a shame to me initially . Like all of us we are only here for a relatively short time . .....
