  1. Its like liquorice that is . we had some to pull down the ramp on our horse box . Lasted about a week . Its total rubbish . It definitely should not be associated in any way with tree work . Bloody dangerous !
  2. Ok . Yea I have seen one ( a picture ) Not seen one working but my guess would be not too cleaver .
  3. Would this be the one powered by the chainsaw power head ?
  4. Very well done bud . Pleased for you .
  5. They do love willow . Felled out a big cracked limb in the summer and they were all over us ! In side the hollow limb was a wasps honey comb . Not regular like a bee one but kinda random looking .
  6. We have had all three at the same time . 201 is pants 200 is a good saw as every body knows . T540 is slightingly better than a 200 and shed loads better than a 201 . Thats how I see it anyways ......
  7. Hes got to be ripping the piss and all you guys have fallen for it . Surely its a Monty python sketch .....
  8. I think some of the problem is where you attach the the tool you are using . The fixed attachment point on the brush cutter may not balance correctly on the ELH . You may have to move it down or up the shaft till its neutral .......
  9. Don't think so . looked bigger than those .
  10. Yea Jon I would say the Sugi bar is of higher quality than the standard Husky one . You can get a power head only and a 16" bar that is 3/8 but you will need a 3/8 power mate rim .
  11. Yea spark screen out is a given on any saw for me . Pete is a bit cagey about what he does but a muffler mod is quite obvious as you can see the weld line where he has cut and shut it . I think he does something to the electronics as well but not sure . All I know is I don't have any hot start issues and its a bit louder with a lot more go .
  12. Did try an 8 pin which is fine on a 15" combo but found the A/T got a bit confused on an 18" . Got the Sugi bar from Rob D on here . ( chainsaw bars ) To be honest I had m,y 560 " tweeked " by petemate on here and its a complete loony ....
  13. I'm running .325 full chisel on a Sugihara bar . Works for me !
  14. Syndicate day to day 250 - 300 ./ All shot well . Mixture of partridge and pheasant . 270 something was he bag . Interesting thing was I saw what I am sure was a wimbrall ( spelling ) . Like a curlew but with a strait beak . Normally a fore shore wader but seen on the wet lands and marsh . No one shot it as it was not in the bag . Not sure if its on the legitimate quarry species or not . Bigger than a wood cock before any one says !
  15. I find the X27 is great on easy splitting stuff ( syc etc ) and can make a quick job of it due to the Teflon coating and being razor sharp but gnarly old stuff needs a mechanical splitter of some decryption . Its not a conjurers wand !!!
  16. Thats a bulge all right . Good spot . Some one with a greater knowledge than me will be along to give a cause and a reason . Dave Humphreys possibly ??
  17. I burn more eucalyptus than anything . It is a superb fire wood . Goes rock hard when its dried out and gives very good heat . Needs a stove coz it will pop and bang a bit .

I was a 9 in RFU ( coming in now ! ) Also BJA ( judo ) for a number of years and cricket in the summer but my passion was squash . Unfortunately a road accident where I was knocked off my motor cycle put paid to all sport . My son is good at basket ball !
