    Yep this 385 was a proper west coast saw . Long narrow kirf bar double dawgs full wrap handle and duel port muffler ....Godda be 10 years ago now though ....

    Thanks for backing me up there wyk ! It was a Canadian saw but the bar was as an Aussie GB bar . I honestly think you can get any chain , in any pitch , in any gauge , in any driver count you want and someone will have a bar for it . Seem to remember having some slim gauge longish Windsor bars at some time ....

    Well yea as standard. I once had a 385 Husky from Canada that had a 32" bar 3/8 pitch and was narrow kirf .050 semi chisel . Never seen it before on that lenght bar or since but they exist .

    Not always . Some 3/8 are .058 gauge and some are .063 .....

    If its a replaceable sprocket nose on the bar then yes . Don't forget to change the power mate rim the other end !

    Well I was born in 1953 and everything is still in " old money " Degrees F, bushels and groats and 10 chains to a furlong and 80 to the the mile ! .....
