  1. It is a 560 , fettled by petemate390 on here . Its running an 18" .325 full chisel driven by an 8 pin sprocket . Fast as f--k . The outer dawg I got from a bloke in the U.S. . Its listed as a Jonsered part but made bu Husky and matches the inner one . Oh the bar I got from Rob D of chainsaw bars , al;so on here .
  2. This is totally arse about over here in "good old blighty " ! The T540 saws used here are not " trial saw though " they are production run saws . We have a 201 and the T540 is bloody light years ahead of it .......
  3. Can you still get Brenecker slugs for a 12 bore ?
  4. Don't worry . If you have good quality synth or semi synth 2 stroke oil it will benefit from 50;1
  5. Heavy duty but light weight . Lighter than the standard bars so slightly less nose heavy . Check em out on Rob D site " chainsawbars " on here . I have a 15" on 346 ported saw an 18" on the petemate tuned 560 a 24" on my ported 372 and a 28" on my ported 390 ...
  6. Stubby

    Huge!!!

I have seen them do it . They have 2 flip lines . They are soft lines not rigid and they send a ripple at a angle up the trunk ....
  7. Stubby

    Huge!!!

Monster . Double flip line and no rope ?
  8. Try the Sugihara bars . Very well made .
  9. When you get it back to the shop do they run it up in front of you ? Or do you just leave it .....
  10. Crazy . I get where you are coming from . Just don't understand why there seem to be regional/different country , problems . Like on the 550 thread the guy in the states has never heard of a running problem yet we seem to have loads . Strange .
  11. I am no expert but would have thought the higher the octane rating the better ? Mine runs like a trooper . You do have to rev it hard the first time you start it . Hold it wide open for a few seconds and you will hear the revs just creep up as the carb adjusts . If you leave it for more than a few minutes it need choke on the the first pull . Also if you run it right out of fuel you will need to get it going and rev it hard in fresh air till the revs come up again .
  12. Bloke I know has one on his Nissan estate car . Was reversing using the camera ( fitted down low ) and a bracket from a tractor mount flail went strait through the back window ...
  13. If you read the link in the above post the only thing you can't do is piss on it . Wash in mild detergent and it will be fine ...according to the research in the link .
  14. Don't piss on your rope then . Other than that all's well .....
  15. I have one some where in the mess that is my tool box . Get one it wont take long to come , well maybe a bit longer at this time of year but hey ......
  16. The Husky studs are headed . The head fits in a location inside the oil tank and the plain section of the stud is a close fit in the hole . The way to remove them is to push them back into the oil tank and hook em out with long nosed pliers or a bit of welding rod . . The easiest way to run large mount stihl bars on large mount husky saws is with the Canon adapter plate . Check out the link I posted ....
  17. Click this link Cannon Chainsaw Bar adapter plate, Convert Stihl bars to Husqvarna & other saws | eBay
  18. How can you do that ? you would have to push them into the oil tank , retrieve them each time ? Why not just use the simple adapter plate ? Piece of piss .... I agree he should buy a Husky bar and put it on the 3120 but he said he would rather use the Stihl .....
  19. You can ware a climbing lid on the ground . No law against it . Why would you wanna swap hats just coz your feet touch the deck . Get what you want bud . No worries ....
  20. Get a 42" Stihl bar and £6.50 Stihl - to - Husky bar mount adapter then you can run it on either saw ........
  21. You got to be able to say " Get orf moy laand "
  22. Fit a plain piece of pipe . Runs better with out the cat . At the same time blank off the egr valve as well and you will have a more efficient running engine ....
  23. This thread is out of date ....
