  1. Go to the top of the home page . Click forums . There is a list of differing forums on different subjects , some with sub forums etc . Pick the one most appropriate for your subject / Top left hand is a tab to click " new thread " ONLY click it if you promise not to ask which is better Stihl or Husqvarna ! Oh also you can do a search you may find there are several old threads already covering what you need to know .......
  2. Chucking it down here Jon . Car just had a bloke of his motorbike at the mini roundabout in the village .
  3. I had problems in the first few days . It was one of the first production run saws of 2011 .Kept shutting down in the cut ( dodgy on a back cut ! ) . Had a new carb fitted under warranty and a remap , but then I sent it to petemate for a fettle and a tweek and its a nutter now and never lets me down . Runs an 8 pin rim too .
  4. The outer dawg is a Jonsered part # for their version of the saw but made by/for husky . Got them from the states .
  5. yep . look at the light grey patches on the bar in the pic of my 560 .
  6. Start by removing the spark arrestor screen if you have not already . Then open the outlet up by the amount spud recommends
  7. You have to get the " pro " bars with the resin inserts in them . Rob D will clue you up .
  8. Understood bud . To be honest I went for the 560 back in 2011 just because I am a Husky fan . Also I heard all the story of the Stihl clutch bearings clapping out in an afternoon etc ...
  9. I have the 15" .325 on my ported 346 and its lighter than the Husky bar and therefore not quite as nose heavy so I presume it would have the same affect on a 357 . I run an 18" on my 560 ...same applies .
  10. I have four of them . 15" , 18" , 24" and 28" . Not had them long enough to say in all honestly but they are extremely well made and judging by the look of them so far I would estimate they would out last the standard husky bar by a long way . Also lighter than corresponding Oregon power match bars .
  11. Irrespective of the final choice ( I'm a Husky man ) to try both is the only way surely ?
  12. Must be something to do with being south of the equator ! Vortex going the other way perhaps ? Seriously though there seems to be a big problem where you are and not over here . Don't know why . Sorry .
  13. They do improve after a few tankfuls but mine was as good as a 200 from the off . The standard chain is pants . change that bud ... Also the rear (underside ) AV spring bends . I am on my second . I think its dropping it on its strop ...
  14. The one I have is stronger than a 200 . Not by much but noticeable . More torque in the mid range . You can lean on it and it wont slow down ...
  15. Not a problem for me bud ......
