    Just a aside ...we had a 575 once and it expired after about 2 years . We found out that there was a batch of saws with " faulty " ( Whatever that means ) fuel lines that perished prematurely allowing in air causing it to run lean and nipping up . Worth looking at yours , maybe replacing ??

    1.6 won't . It will jam in your bar . Stihl do make 1.5 chains for other make saws . Just get an Oregon . Rob D of " chainswabars " on here , or Justin from " Jonsies " will sort you ...
