  1. Im thinking it could just be that it is a longer bar and therfore you are in contact with a wider bundle of sticks . They are not all held firmly on the horse because of iregularitys in shape / straitness so they move a tad sometimes causing this problem . You could try a semi chisel with safety type bumper rakers or just dont file them so often when you sharpen up .....

  10. Also worth repacing the carb diafragm if you are going to stick with aspen . The pump fuel removes the coating ( to keep the rubber supple ) on the rubber components but the pump fuel itsef keeps it supple . Aspen will not remove this coating but if the run on pump fuel initially the rubber can harden . If running with Aspen from the get go not an issiue ...

  20. I cant see any reason why it could not be started . All the plastic parts are what you would get on a standard production saw just with no pigment in them .....
