I have caught common on a floating bread crust . It was on the Chichester cannal . i used a small barbless gold hook . The Rud and Roach would peck at it for a time then when it had got soggey ...woosh a big suck down and he was on . I was about 12 years old then . -

A " firkin " is a type of beer barrel ! ( as opposed to a six pack ) Pretty much always been 10.5 - 11 stone Its just that now its a bit old and tired . I am nearly 63 FFS !

I have been told off once in the past . I was not intentionally being naughty but I used a word that is not allowed . It was no big deal being told and after a little banter with the mod I wound my neck in and towed the line . This place is far too good to get all chunky and be thrown out ! Dont crap on your own door step kinda thing .

I agree that the price is prohibative and I stayed away for a long time . I tried it in my 560 firstly as any adjustments that might be needed would be taken care of automatically . I dont know if its phsycological ( spelling ) but I would say it runs stronger than on pump fuel , certainly not less power . I still mix though ...I mix Aspen 4 with Red line at 50 : 1 .

They can varie quite a bit in their reading . Put in a search there is some threads about them .
