  1. It does not break at the head end but some times if you clout something it pulls through against the sprung jaws making it tricky to get hold of the end to pull it through and fit a new lenght . It does shred the end a bit if you are asking too much of it but that is the nature of the game I suppose .
  2. I think the have a few new players for next season
  3. If they are as in the picture 3/4 weeks . If more advanced than the picture the you will have to estimate accordingly .
  4. If it "tubular " vegitation and docks nettles and even bramble the the Diamond Edge will mullar it . More toward woody solid brush you would be better off with a blade or even a clearing saw .

  7. Deset Extrusions make the " Diamond Edge " line I think . Made in a vacuum so no air included .

  11. I find , generally that most oaks are relatively slow . Holm oak , common oak and red oak . Have you tried mixing it with some dry Syc to get a good hot base ?
  12. Dependant on Diameter of cord and Size ( grunt ) of engine .
  13. Nylon is hygroscopic and absorbs water making it less brittle and a little bit more heavy .
  14. What is it and what are you trying to burn it on ?
  15. Used a chain type on a big John Deer with a twin spindle topper on the back . You are right bud and it wont break the gearbox if you hit a lump of something ! I use the Oregon mulch blade with the turned down ends . Works a treat but not such a wide swipe . That 4.0mm Diamond edge line is really good .
