  1. Some people with a full bike license sent them off for renewal and they came ack with no bike entitlement at all . One of these was a bike cop !

  10. Had similar . Quoted to clear a wind thrown tree . We were tooo expensive . " my gardener will do it " 2 weeks later " can you come and sort this mess " ? Tree down across lawn , mountain of brash all too short and pointing every which way and several failed cuts at logging the trunk . It cost him more because of the aggravation factor but , we got other work as well . No sign of the gardener...
  11. I have found if it stops oiling you end up with a slack chain because it has stretched due to the extra ware in the links coz they are dry .
  12. Had a situation similar . Worked round it all but found a bundle of bamboo canes and pushed one in next to every lawn sausage as a marker . Must of embarrassed customer as next day they were all cleared up .
  13. Cooper STT is worth a punt . As good as BFG but a bit cheaper .....
  14. Square ground cuts faster . Its a bit of a dark art sharpening with a file tough . Sharpen from the outside in as opposed to inside out as with round ground chisel . think you can sharpen it back to round ground with a round file but no point buying it in the first place if you do that ....

    It may be possible to salvage the pot , dependent on the damage . If you can remove the aluminum transfer with acid and give it a light hone you can fit an OEM piston or a Metior after market one . Look on spuds " whats on your bench " thread . You must find the why it seized first though or it will do it again . Usually an air leak from somewhere . Crank seals possibly ......
  17. Yea I noticed that last year . Got a birch out front and they were all over it for the little seeds .
  18. Jon were have all my finches gone mate ?? Got 2x wild bird seed feeder , 1x long peanut feeder , 1x fat ball feeder , 1x sun flower heart feeder , and 1x niger seed ( thistle ) feeder . Used t get Gold finches , Chaffinches , ans occasional Bull finch , Long tailed Tits , Blue and Great Tits and the odd Green finch . All I get now are Sparrows and Starlings !
